    摘要: An accelerating handle assembly for an electric vehicle includes first and second rings fixed together with a gap formed therebetween. A tubular handle has an end received in the gap and abutting a stepped portion of the first ring. A magnet is mounted to the tubular handle. A Hall sensor is fixed to the first or second ring and includes a detecting face facing the magnet. An arcuate clamping member is fixed to an outer periphery of the tubular handle and includes two ends respectively having two attachment seats. A spring unit includes a follower rod having two ends respectively fixed to the attachment seats of the first clamping member. The spring unit further includes a compression spring having a first end abutting an end of the first clamping member. The compression spring further has a second end abutting a restraining block of the second ring.

    摘要: A steering handlebar apparatus for a vehicle includes a rod-shaped steering handlebar having a hand grip at a distal end thereof, and also includes both a clutch lever and a hot start lever mounted thereon at a position proximal to the hand grip. A switch holder for holding various switches is mounted to the steering handlebar at a position proximal to the hand grip. The hot start lever is journaled on the lower surface of the switch holder so that the user can operate the hot start lever with the thumb of the hand which is holding the hand grip, and can simultaneously turn off the clutch lever with other fingers of the same hand. The inventive arrangement provides a steering handlebar apparatus for a vehicle which facilitates simultaneous operation of a handle lever and a hot start lever using the hand which is holding a hand grip of a steering handlebar.

    摘要: A hydraulically operated throttle system that has the hydraulic system components installed entirely within the throttle grip on the handlebar. A regular throttle cable is run through the frame/handlebar where it connects to the hydraulic system. A three-piston system is used to provide the control. One piston is connected to a disk cam. As the disk is turned (by turning the twist grip), the cam forces the first piston to move, which forces hydraulic fluid from a first cylinder into a secondary cylinder. This secondary cylinder contains a second piston, which is moved by the fluid from the first cylinder. As this second piston moves, hydraulic fluid moves third piston within a third cylinder. The third piston is attached to the throttle cable. As this piston moves within the third cylinder, it pulls or pushes the throttle cable, thereby opening or closing the throttle on the engine.
