摘要: Methods and apparatus for managing capacity in a Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) network. An exemplary method embodiment includes operating a Citizens Broadband Radio Service Device (CBSD) of a cell to perform the steps of: receiving a power down message; decreasing, in response to the power down message, UE inactivity timer length for one or more UEs from a first length to a second length; and continuing to transmit packets to UEs at an edge of the cell. An exemplary system embodiment includes: a CBSD of a cell that comprises: a network receiver that receives a power down message; a first processor that controls the first CBSD to decrease, in response to the power down message, UE inactivity timer length for one or more UEs from a first length to a second length; and a wireless transmitter that continues to transmit packets to UEs at an edge of the cell.

摘要: A communication method disclosed in the present disclosure includes: receiving, by an access point, a sending request sent by a first station, and sending clear to send information to the first station; when the access point receives feedback information sent by the first station, allocating, by the access point, a channel to the first station, and allocating a channel to a second station based on remaining bandwidth; generating a first trigger frame, and sending the first trigger frame to the first station and the second station; and receiving uplink data sent by the first station and the second station. The present disclosure further provides an access point and a station that can implement the communication method. According to the present disclosure, bandwidth utilization of the access point and data transmission efficiency can be improved.

The QoS parameter comprises an allocation/retention priority (ARP) and a QoS class identifier (QCI). The control plane gateway maps the QoS parameter to QoS guarantee information. The QoS guarantee information comprises a differentiated services code point (DSCP) parameter. The control plane gateway sends the QoS guarantee information to a user plane gateway. The QoS guarantee information is to be used by the user plane gateway for QoS marking.

摘要: The present invention provides a computer implemented method, system, and computer program product of optimizing bandwidth of cognitive radios (CRs). In an embodiment, the present invention includes monitoring use of channels of digital wireless spectrum by at least one primary user communications device (PU device), resulting in PU activity data describing the use, using a digital wireless spectrum channel with a lowest usage by the at least one PU device as indicated by the PU activity data, detecting when the at least one PU device begins to use at least one digital wireless spectrum channel, calculating TCP connection data describing a plurality of TCP connections in light of TCP connection parameter data, and performing a network congestion-avoidance algorithm using the calculated TCP connection data, resulting in digital wireless transmission characteristics for at least one of the plurality of TCP connections that are optimized for at least one CR device.
