    摘要: A configurable mission processor (CMP) is disclosed that includes a chassis with a plurality of reprogrammable processor modules (RPMs) disposed within the chassis. Each RPM has a baseboard with at least one field programmable gate array (FPGA) and a configuration manager configured to accept a configuration file through an externally accessible signal connector, store the configuration file, and selectably program the at least one FPGA using the configuration file. The RPM includes a power submodule that accepts unregulated power through an externally accessible power connector, generates regulated power at a plurality of voltages, and provide the regulated power to the RPM. The RPM may also include an input/output submodule configured to provide a communication channel between the at least one FPGA and external devices through its own externally accessible signal connector. The CMP also includes a backplane that provides only signal and ground interconnections between the baseboards.

    摘要: According to one aspect, a distributed uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for mounting in a data center rack is provided. The distributed power system includes an input constructed to receive alternating current (AC) input power, an AC bus coupled to the input, a DC bus constructed to couple to at least one DC load in the data center rack, a battery bus coupled to at least one battery, and at least one power module. The at least one power module has a first input coupled to the AC bus, a second input coupled to the battery bus, and an output coupled to the DC bus and is constructed to generate DC power based on received power from at least one of the AC bus and the battery bus.

    摘要: At least one embodiment of this disclosure includes a power shelf for serving a power zone within an IT equipment rack. The power shelf includes: a DC bus configured to provide DC power to rack-mounted equipment within the power zone; multiple pairs of backup battery units (BBUs) and power supply units (PSUs), wherein the multiple pairs include at least a redundant pair, such that voltage and power is supplied through the DC bus sufficient to power the rack-mounted equipment even when one of the multiple pairs is inoperative; and a power circuit, in each PSU of each of the multiple pairs, configured to rectify an AC phase from an external multi-phase AC power source, wherein the power circuit is configured to draw power from one of the BBUs paired to the PSU when the PSU fails to provide power sufficient to power the rack-mounted equipment.
