    摘要: An implant comprising two internal anti-rotational features. One anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage a driving tool, while the other anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage an abutment. An implant abutment system is provided with an angled abutment adapted to mate with one of the anti-rotational features. A second, straight abutment is adapted to engage with the other anti-rotational feature. An abutment is provided with resilient fingers to interface with the implant and provide tactile and audible feedback indicating when the abutment is properly seated. An abutment screw extends through the abutment and engages the implant bore distal of the stem of the abutment. The abutment screw limits axial movement of the abutment relative to the implant. A driving tool comprising one of at least retention structure and visual alignment indicia is provided to facilitate screwing the implant into a patient's bone.

It further includes an alignment feature for rotationally aligning the fitting relative to the dental implant about the insertion axis. The fitting is characterized in that the alignment feature extends further in the insertion direction than the spring member.

A planning device communicates with and via the guidance device, and determines an arrangement of the dental implant at the site, to direct the site preparation device to prepare the site to receive the dental implant arrangement, and to direct the implant preparation device to prepare the crown portion for receipt by the anchor portion.

The micro-motion mechanism is configured to imitate the biomechanical behavior of the periodontal ligament through a compressive action that dampens vertical, horizontal, and angular forces. A compressive ring provides a dampening effect to supportive components of the assembly. A compressive coil redirects vertical forces along a longitudinal axis of the assembly. An implant body osseointegrates into the dental alveolus. A central mobile element seats in the dental body. The compressive coil extends along the central mobile element to absorb vertical forces. The compressive ring seats on the collar of the dental implant. A threaded cannulated housing securely holds the central mobile element and the compressive coil to form a single unit. A restorative abutment portion threadably seats on the central mobile element.

    摘要: A cradle, assembly, system and method for installing a prosthesis at a surgical site. The cradle temporarily engages the prosthesis and holds it in the correct orientation and position adjacent the surgical site. An aperture is defined in the cradle and a portion of the prosthesis is received therein. In one embodiment, the cradle, assembly and system are used to install a final dental prosthesis in a patient's mouth in a single visit to the dentist's office. A securement member pins the surgical template and subsequently the cradle to the jaw. A metal sub-structure on the final dental prosthesis is received in the aperture in the cradle. Cylinders attached to implants anchored in the jaw extend through holes in the sub-structure and are bonded to the prosthesis. The cradle is detached from the jaw and from the prosthesis prior to screws being re-inserted through the cylinders and into the implants.
