Abstract: The intra prediction method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: deriving an intra prediction mode of a current block; deriving neighboring reference samples of the current block; and generating a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of linear interpolation of a first neighboring reference sample positioned in the prediction direction of the intra prediction mode, and a second neighboring reference sample positioned in the opposite direction of the prediction direction, among the neighboring reference samples of the current block, wherein the neighboring reference samples include left neighboring reference samples, left upper neighboring reference samples, upper neighboring reference samples, right neighboring reference samples, right lower neighboring reference samples, and lower neighboring reference samples of the current block. The present invention can improve intra prediction performance, and thereby reduce the amount of data required for residual information and increase the overall coding efficiency.

Abstract: According to the present invention, an image decoding method performed by a decoding device comprises the steps of: deriving a prediction mode of a current block; generating a prediction block of the current block on the basis of the prediction mode of the current block; deriving a neighboring block of the current block; deriving correlation information on the basis of a reconstruction block of the neighboring block and a prediction block of the neighboring block; deriving a modified prediction block of the current block on the basis of the prediction block of the current block and the correlation information; and deriving a reconstruction block of the current block on the basis of the modified prediction block. According to the present invention, a current block can be predicted in consideration of the correlation between a prediction sample and a reconstruction sample of a neighboring block, and a complicated image can be more efficiently reconstructed through the prediction.

Specifically, the method for decoding an image may comprise the steps of: performing interpolation filtering of a reference picture; generating predicted samples from samples in the reference picture for which the interpolation filtering has been performed; generating reconstructed samples by adding residual samples and the predicted samples; and performing loop filtering of the reconstructed samples, wherein whether the predicted samples have been generated by applying a predetermined filter when performing the interpolation filtering is determined in units of first blocks; whether the filter is applied to the reconstructed samples is determined in units of second blocks, and whether the filter is applied to the reconstructed samples when performing the loop filtering is determined on the basis of whether the filter has been applied to the predicted samples when performing the interpolation filtering.

Abstract: A method for processing video signals by a decoding apparatus includes determining whether the temporal neighboring block of a current texture block is coded using inter-view prediction; and determining whether the spatial neighboring block of the current texture block is coded using inter-view prediction. When the temporal neighboring block and the spatial neighboring block are not coded using the inter-view prediction, deriving an inter-view motion vector of the current texture block as a disparity vector, and performing inter-view prediction for the current texture block using the derived inter-view motion vector of the current texture block. The disparity vector is obtained using a depth value according the current texture block.

Abstract: According to the present invention, a method of processing a video signal includes the steps of: receiving the depth data corresponding to a given block containing present pixels; determining a variation of the depth data; comparing the variation of the depth data with a predetermined value; if the variation is less than the predetermined value, coding the present pixels by using a first partial filter, and if the variation is greater than the predetermined value, coding the present pixels by using a second partial filter; wherein the second partial filter is applied to a wider range than the first partial filter. Accordingly the image quality of improved; the complexity according to the filter application is reduced; and at the same time variable filtering may improve the coding efficiency.

The present invention can increase the accuracy of the inter-view inter prediction by selectively using the inter-view motion vector of a spatial neighboring block, the inter-view motion vector of a temporal neighboring block and/or the reference inter-view motion vector to induce an accurate inter-view motion vector, and can improve coding efficiency by reducing the amount of residual data to be transmitted.
