Abstract: A method and system for providing location services at a network edge is described. An AP can receive location information associated with a second AP in a location group. The AP can also receive client location data from the second AP and associated with a first client. From at least the received client location data, the AP can determine a location of the first client. The AP can then send the location of the first client to a location service.

Abstract: The present technology allows coordination of channels of private wireless networks utilizing shared licensed and unlicensed spectrum. Wireless network operators in an enterprise location register to participate in a consortium and register licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources to be shared with other members of the consortium. The wireless network operators request an allocation of spectrum resources from the consortium. The consortium generates a radio resource management (“RRM”) plan for shared use of the licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources. The consortium combines the allocated licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum from each of the wireless network operators to meet the target RRM plan. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization to dynamically update the RRM. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization in real time to determine how closely the RRM plan matches the resources allocated to each wireless network operator.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein can analyze a bandwidth restriction in a communication stream of an Access Point (AP). Then, based on the bandwidth restriction, the AP can determine a lower amount of wireless bandwidth to provide to station wireless communicating to the AP. The AP can then modify a bandwidth allocation assigned to the station based on the lower amount of wireless bandwidth.

Abstract: Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) using non-overlapping Resource Unit (RU) groupings may be provided. A first computing device may associate to a first Access Point (AP) at a virtual Media Access Control (MAC) address. Next, the first computing device may associate to a second AP at the virtual MAC address. Then data from a data frame may be replicated to a first one or more RUs in a channel. The first one or more RUs may be assigned to the first AP. Data from the data frame may then be replicated to a second one or more RUs in the channel. The second one or more RUs may be assigned to the second AP and may not overlap the first one or more RUs.

Abstract: Systems, methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for collecting access point telemetry. A first access point is identified that is associated with a single instance on a pod. A hash identifier is identified, where the hash identifier identifies a radio frequency (RF) neighborhood of the first access point based on a geographical location of the first access point. Subsequent access point members of the RF neighborhood are dynamically determined by dynamically assigning a second access point to the RF neighborhood, the dynamic assignment based on the second access point being within a threshold geographical location to the first access point. Telemetry from the second access point is directed towards the single instance on the pod, where the pod receives telemetry for all access points in the dynamically determined RF neighborhood.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a technique for automatic classification and enforcement of low-bandwidth 20 MHz-only Internet of Things (IoT) devices is provided. An access point in communication with a plurality of devices may classify one or more client devices of the plurality as low-bandwidth or 20 MHz-only devices. The access point may allocate a subset of resource units (RUs) in a channel (e.g., a 20 MHz-wide channel) to the one or more client devices. The access point may then exchange data with the one or more client devices using the subset of RUs.

Abstract: A Quality of Service (QoS) based wireless coverage map may be provided. First, a station may be identified by an Access Point (AP) in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Next, a report request may be sent by the AP to the station in response to identifying the station. A report may then be received from the station in response to the report request. The report may comprise information. The information may comprise a location of the station and data indicating a strength of a signal from the AP at the station. A map may be created based on the received report. The map may indicate a hole in the coverage of the WLAN.

Abstract: Presented herein are methodologies for managing radio resources in a venue that implements a high density wireless infrastructure. The methodology includes detecting, using wireless access points, neighbor awareness networking (NAN) communications broadcast by a mobile device, determining a wireless channel on which the mobile device is sending the NAN communications, predicting a destination of the mobile device based on a path, through a predetermined venue, being taken by the mobile device, the path being detected using the wireless access points; and implementing a radio resource management remediation technique to reduce radio interference that is expected to be caused by the NAN communications broadcast by the mobile device at the destination based on the wireless channel and the destination.
