    摘要: A subsea production system for controlling fluid flow from a well. The system includes a subsea production tree and a drilling riser engageable with the well. The tree includes electrical and hydraulic lines to communicate with equipment in the tree and downhole in the well. The system also includes a tieback tool that can be installed in the tree through the drilling riser to establish communication with the tree electrical and hydraulic lines and permit access into the well bore. The system also includes an umbilical connectable with the tieback tool and extendable inside the drilling riser to the surface. The umbilical can be used to communicate the tieback tool. The umbilical can also be used to communicate with the tree and downhole equipment through the tieback tool connection with the tree.

    摘要: In an example embodiment, a number of contending nodes and colliding nodes for a plurality of links of a network is determined. The capacity of each of the plurality of links is determined. A sum of the traffic demand of each of the plurality of links divided the throughput of each of the plurality of links is used to form a cost function for the network. One, or more, of a group consisting of a plurality of frequency assignments, a plurality of transmit powers, and a plurality of clear channel assessment (CCA) values is searched to obtain a global minimum for the cost function. The frequency assignments, transmit powers, and/or CCA values providing the global minimum for the cost function are selected.

The method includes wirelessly receiving data via each of a plurality of antennas, the data corresponding to a packet of information transmitted from a remote station, sampling the received data corresponding to the received packet to form data samples for each of the antennas, and determining a measure of signal quality from samples of the received data for each of the antennas. The method further includes selecting one of the plurality of receive antennas as the antenna for receiving from the remote station according to the determined measure of signal quality.

    摘要: Micro-fluid ejection head structures, methods of making micro-fluid ejection head structures having improved operability, and methods for improving the durability of micro-fluid ejection head structures are provided. One such micro-fluid ejection head structure includes a micro-fluid ejection head having a substrate and nozzle plate assembly adhesively attached adjacent to a substrate support using a substrate adhesive. The nozzle plate is adhesively attached adjacent to the substrate with a nozzle plate adhesive. A thermally, UV or other cure mechanism encapsulant material is attached adjacent to the ejection head and substrate support. Each of the substrate adhesive, and the encapsulant material, after curing, have a Young's modulus of less than about 2000 MPa, a shear modulus at 25° C. of less than about 15 MPa, and a glass transition temperature of less than about 90° C.
