Abstract: A subsea wellhead assembly having an arrangement of primary well barriers provided in equipment that is located within the well and/or the wellhead housing is provided. The subsea wellhead assembly may include a tubing hanger positioned in or below a wellhead housing coupled to a subsea well, a tree cap fluidly coupled to the tubing hanger and disposed atop the wellhead housing, and a pair of master production valves configured to be selectively actuated from an open position to a closed position to shut in the subsea well, each of the pair of master production valves located within or below the wellhead housing.

Abstract: The present application provides an underwater-wellhead feeding tool assembly and a use method thereof. The device controls a controller to add pressure to an inside of a drive cylinder through a first pipeline via a first port, and to add pressure to a cavity apace between a pressure-bearing cylinder and the drive cylinder through a first branch line; the controller controls, through a third branch line, the drive device to transmit a torque to the underwater wellhead feeding tool, and transmit, through a second branch line, an axial force to the underwater wellhead feeding tool; and then a sensing component transmits a detected stress signal and/or strain signal to a data acquisition device through a test lead, thereby testing and analyzing an effect of different force field conditions on mechanical behaviors and performance of the underwater wellhead feeding tool.

Abstract: This disclosure includes methods for testing hydraulically-actuated devices and related systems. Some hydraulically-actuated devices have a housing defining an interior volume and a piston disposed within the interior volume and dividing the interior volume into a first chamber and a second chamber, where the piston is movable relative to the housing between a maximum first position and a maximum second position in response to pressure differentials between the first and second chambers. Some methods include: (1) moving the piston to the first position by varying pressure within at least one of the first and second chambers such that pressure within the second chamber is higher than pressure within the first chamber; and (2) while the piston remains in the first position: (a) reducing pressure within the second chamber and/or increasing pressure within the first chamber; and (b) increasing pressure within the second chamber and/or decreasing pressure within the first chamber.

Abstract: An electro-hydraulic control system for actuating a control valve includes a control module. The control module is coupled to the surface via at least one hydraulic line and two electrical power lines. The control module uses one of the hydraulic lines as a “supply” line and the other line as a “return” line if included. Each hydraulic line of the at least one hydraulic lines can be used as an “open” line or a “close” line to open or close the control valve. The control module includes two normally closed (NC) solenoid valves (SOVs) that are coupled to the electrical power lines and can be controlled from the surface to open or close. The opening or closing of the NC SOVs in cooperation with hydraulic pressure on a “supply” line of the hydraulic lines operates (i.e., closes or opens) the control valve.

Abstract: A retrievable and retrofittable subsea hydraulic dump valve assembly for a subsea oil and gas production system including at least one hydraulic selector valve including a solenoid and a spring. The hydraulic selector valve converts a first hydraulic pressure supply line into a primary hydraulic pressure supply line and a second hydraulic pressure supply line into a pilot line and a backup hydraulic pressure supply line. In a first operating configuration the hydraulic selector valve channels a first flow of hydraulic fluid from the first hydraulic pressure supply line to the critical control valve actuators to maintain the critical control valve actuators in the open configuration. In a second operating configuration the hydraulic selector valve channels the flow of hydraulic fluid to the subsea environment at a local venting location to reconfigure the critical control valve actuators into a closed configuration.

The piston is configured to slide over the plurality of anti-rotation shafts via the plurality of counterbores.
