An N-pass hybrid fill-and-line print mode is used to print an image on a print medium. In this mode, each sequence of N longitudinally overlapping printhead passes over said print media includes at least one transverse forward pass using a fill mask and at least one transverse reverse pass using a line mask.

A system comprises a basic-input-output-system (“BIOS”), a disk drive, and a security system configured to prevent unauthenticated access to the disk drive. For each of at least two users out of a plurality of users, the BIOS authenticates the user based on the user's token. The BIOS also accesses secured data based on the authentication, and provides the secured data to the security system without input from the user.

A fluid dispenser is disclosed herein. An example of such a fluid dispenser includes a housing configured to store a quantity of fluid and an ejection assembly configured to controllably emit the fluid through a nozzle. The fluid dispenser also includes a fluid chamber configured both to supply a quantity of the fluid to the ejection assembly and to define a fluid flow path between the housing and the ejection assembly. The fluid dispenser further includes a filter positioned in the fluid flow path and configured both to conduct the fluid from the housing to the fluid chamber and to restrain particles in the fluid from entering the fluid chamber. The filter is further configured to define a bubble flow path that facilitates conduction of bubbles from the fluid chamber to the housing. Additional features of this fluid dispenser are disclosed herein, as are other examples of fluid dispensers.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a stylus having a retractable connector for use with a computing device. According to one embodiment, the stylus includes an outer housing and a connector configured to attach to a port on the computing device so as to maintain the stylus in a fixed position adjacent to the computing device. Furthermore, the connector is capable of extending from the housing of the stylus into a first position and also retracting into the stylus housing into a second position.

An illuminated latch apparatus is provided. The illuminated latch apparatus can include a latch member 100 with at least one surface 110 having a channel 120 formed therein. A light guide 200 having a first end 210 and a second end 220 can be at least partially disposed within the channel 120. A light source 310 can be disposed proximate the first end 210 of the light guide 200.

An optical disk system comprises a computer-readable medium containing code for controlling writing by the disk system to a removable optical disk. The optical disk system further comprises an optical pickup unit for reading data from the optical disk and writing data to the optical disk, a spindle motor for rotating the optical disk during the reading and writing, an optical disk controller that processes the data read from and written to the disk; and a processor that executes the code, thereby causing the optical disk system to write user data to the removable optical disk and to write an identifying value indicative of the optical disk system to at least one predetermined area of the removable optical disk.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that determine whether each configuration item in a plurality of configuration items is associated with every other configuration item therein. If each configuration item in the plurality of configuration items is associated with every other configuration item therein, the plurality of configuration items are merged such that each attribute associated therewith is associated with one configuration item. If each configuration item in the plurality of configuration items is not associated with every other configuration item therein, it is determined whether at least one configuration item may be ignored.

In one embodiment, a plurality of executable instructions is stored at a first software module. The plurality of executable instructions are collectively configured to provide an identifier of a first object instance to a second software module stored at a memory and executed at the processor. The identifier of the first object instance is received at the second software module in response to execution of the plurality of executable instructions and a textual object element identifier is selected from a plurality of textual object element identifiers. Each textual object element identifier from the plurality of textual object element identifiers uniquely associated with an object element. An identifier of a second object instance is accessed and the object element uniquely associated with the textual object element identifier is reflectively accessed at the second object instance. The first object instance derived from the second object instance.

Techniques for graphically representing an input query are described in various implementations. In one example implementation, a method that implements the techniques may include receiving, in an electronic discovery computing system and from a user interface, an input query that includes a Boolean expression for identifying documents in a document repository of the electronic discovery computing system. The method may also include parsing the input query to identify terms and operators included in the input query, and generating a graphical representation of the input query that shows how the terms and operators are interpreted by the electronic discovery computing system. The method may also include causing the graphical representation to be displayed via the user interface.
