Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method of wireless communication performed by a first wireless communication device includes: initiating a registration protocol for performing repeater operations for sidelink communications; transmitting, to a second wireless communication device, a sidelink capability report indicating sidelink repeating capabilities of the first wireless communication device; receiving a sidelink repeating configuration based on the sidelink capability report; and communicating a first signal based on the sidelink repeating configuration.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide mechanisms for transmitting discovery signals to enable discovery of a cell. Synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) carrying the cell identifier of the cell may then be transmitted either on-demand or with a higher periodicity than discovery signals. The discovery signals and SSBs may be transmitted within a same bandwidth part and on at least overlapping sets of frequency resources.

In some aspects, a repeater may transmit, to a base station via a first interface, information associated with a second interface of the repeater. Abstract: A node including an RU and a control entity is disclosed. The node may receive, from a base station at a control entity of the node, an indication of at least one obstruction for communication via at least one reflective surface. The indication may indicate to the control entity to utilize an RU of the node and the at least one reflective surface for communication. The node may configure, upon receiving the indication of the at least one obstruction, the RU and the at least one reflective surface for communication with the base station. The node may forward communication received from, or forward communication to, the base station via the RU and the at least one reflective surface based on the at least one obstruction for communication.

Abstract: In some aspects, a network node may transmit access information indicating one or more probability values that are respectively associated with one or more network nodes. The probability values may be selected to “guide” or “steer” one or more UEs to select an anchor node and/or a non-anchor node for communication. As an illustrative example, if a first probability value associated with a first network node is 0.75, and if a second probability value associated with a second network node is 0.25, a UE may select the first network node with a probability of 75 percent and may select the second network node with a probability of 25 percent. In some implementations, an anchor node of the UE may transmit the access information via a system information block of type one (SIB1) that indicates the probability values.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques support communication between one or more network entities and user equipment (UEs) via configurable intelligent surfaces. A first UE may transmit, to a second UE associated with a set of configurable intelligent surfaces, first information that indicates a tracking period and a data period that the second UE is to use to manage the configurable intelligent surfaces. The second UE may adjust the configurable intelligent surfaces for the communications between the first UE and network entities during the tracking period and the data period. The second UE may adjust the configurable intelligent surfaces based on measurement reports generated by the first UE based on communication during the tracking and data periods.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit signaling to a first network entity indicating a location of the UE and a measured reference signal receive power (RSRP). The UE may receive an indication of a time division duplex (TDD) configuration and a slot format indicator (SFI) for communications between the UE and the first network entity based on the RSRP or location. In some cases, the first network entity may receive signaling indicating a set of resource configurations from a second network entity. The first network entity may select a resource configuration (e.g., for communications with the UE) from the set based on a measured RSRP indicated by the UE or a location of the UE. The UE and the base station (e.g., the wireless device and the first network entity) may communicate according to the indicated or selected resource configurations.
