Abstract: At an actual reception counter, for example, a person in charge of reception can see appearance and belongings of a visitor, and may guess the business of the visitor before the visitor reaches the reception counter. However, in communication between communication terminals, there is a problem about usability such that contents on one side cannot be confirmed on a communication terminal on the other side before requesting communication. To solve the problem, when communication has been established between one or more terminals on a customer side and a terminal on an operator side, the output control unit of the terminal on the operator side executes control for starting output of content data of the terminals on the customer side at the terminal itself. Abstract: A video endpoint and related methods are disclosed. A method of operating the video endpoint includes transmitting data corresponding to a selected one of the text strings stored in the database to the other video endpoint during the video communications responsive to the user selecting the selected one of the text strings. A method of transforming a computing device into a video endpoint includes storing computer-readable instructions directed to performing the functions of the control circuit on one or more servers, and transmitting the computer-readable instructions to the computing device.

The method comprises providing a VRS call recorder, a VRS rules gateway, and a VRS video client connected to each other by means of a computer network; initiating a VRS call using the VRS video client; sending the VRS call to the VRS rules gateway; determining, by the VRS rules gateway, whether the VRS call is to be recorded; in response to a determination that the VRS call is to be recorded: modifying a property of the VRS call to indicate that the call is to be recorded; detecting, by the VRS call recorder, the modified VRS call property; and in response to detecting the modified VRS call property, trying the VRS call with recording enabled.
