    摘要: Provided is a superheated steam boiler. The superheated steam boiler, in this embodiment, includes an inner tank system, the inner tank system including a first wet tank and a second dry tank separated from one another by an isolation member, an outer sleeve at least partially surrounding the inner tank system, wherein one or more wet tank fluid openings proximate a lower surface of the first wet tank allow the first wet tank to be in fluid communication with the outer sleeve, and further wherein one or more dry tank steam openings in the second dry tank allow the second dry tank to be in steam communication with the outer sleeve, and a burner system located primarily within the inner tank system. The burner system, in this embodiment, includes a combustion/expansion chamber having one or more spherical surfaces located in and fluidly isolated from the first wet tank, a distribution chamber located in and fluidly isolated from the second dry tank, a plurality of heat tubes extending through the isolation member between the combustion/expansion chamber and the distribution chamber; and an exhaust tube extending from the distribution chamber and out of the inner tank system to exit the superheated steam boiler.

    摘要: A water heater includes a tank and a jacket surrounding the tank. Between the tank and jacket is defined an annular space in which a seal is positioned. The seal extends between the tank and the jacket and defines a bottom of the annular space. The seal includes a depending flange that retains a fiberglass batt against the water tank so that the batt does not interfere with lowering the jacket around the tank. The seal also includes a plurality of arms that center and round out the jacket as it is lowered over the tank. A liquid-based insulation is pumped into the annular space under pressure, and the seal substantially prevents any of the insulation from leaking through the bottom of the annular seal. The arms may be progressively longer and/or thicker from the top down to permit some of the insulation to bypass the upper arms and fill the spaces between the arms.

    摘要: A device for introducing hot gas into a heating surface pipe of a waste heat boiler includes an outer pipe that is connected to the boiler wall, preferably to the bottom of the pipe. The device also includes an inner pipe or entry pipe that has an admission section that is cylindrical or conically narrows and also has a discharge section that is connected to the heating surface pipe. The inner pipe is connected to the outer pipe via a rounded reversible cap while forming an entry opening for the hot gas. The inner pipe is surrounded by the outer pipe at a distance. The device also includes a coolant guiding pipe, which is placed between the outer pipe and the inner pipe and which extends into the proximity of the reversible cap. The guiding pipe is provided in the form of a force-transmitting component and is connected, in a removable or fixed manner, both to the inner pipe as well as to the outer pipe each time with at least three connecting ribs which are uniformly distributed over the periphery and which are provided for introducing or transferring forces.

    摘要: A double tube helical coil steam generator is provided in which a multiplicity of inner tubes conducting water are individually surrounded by outer tubes containing liquid metal as a heat transfer agent. The double tubes form into helical coils, providing a large surface area while conserving space. Immersion of the double tube helical coil in hot liquid metal, e.g., from the core of a nuclear reactor, causes efficient transfer of heat across the liquid metal in the outer tube to the water in the inner tube, creating superheated steam, which can be cycled to a turbine and converted to electrical power. The efficiency, reliability and safety of the multiple double tube design of the steam generator obviates the necessity of many secondary heat removal and emergency components in addition to conserving space and material.
