Abstract: A first module for a fluid cooling system may have a control unit, a first communication unit, a pump for a cooling fluid, and a first heat exchanger. The first communication unit may be configured to receive signals from at least one second module, the signals having an identification feature of the second module. The control unit, on the basis of the identification feature, is designed for identifying the second module, checking whether the second module is system-compatible or authorized, and switching on the pump and/or the first heat exchanger depending on the presence of the system-compatible or authorized second module. A cooling fluid system may have the first module and a second module.

Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly (10) is proposed comprising: a heat exchanger (12) forming one or more electrically connected partitions (26) separating a first fluid (22) and a second fluid (24). The assembly (10) further comprises: a first electrical connector (14) and a second electrical connector (16) that are operationally connected to the partitions (26) of the heat exchanger (12) and an electrical power source (18) operationally connected to the first electrical connector (14) and the second electrical connector (16). The electrical power source (18) is configured to supply an electric current to the one or more partitions (26) of the heat exchanger (12) via the first electrical connector (14) and the second electrical connector (16).

Abstract: Device and method for ascertaining fouling in a heat exchanger in which heat is transferred from a first medium to a second medium through a wall, wherein a function is used with at least one parameter that describes the dependence of a first variable, which is influenced by the fouling, on the flow and/or temperature of the first medium and/or the second medium, in particular the simultaneous influence of changes in the flow and temperature on the first variable, wherein a value for the at least one parameter is ascertained using measurement values of the first and/or the second medium such that the precision when ascertaining fouling in a heat exchanger, in which heat is transferred from a first medium to a second medium, is increased.

Abstract: Use of a heat transfer tube in a damp environment in air-conditioning equipment and exposed to corrosive action caused by a corrosive medium comprising at least one lower carboxylic acid, the heat transfer tube a copper tube comprising 0.10-1.0% by weight of P and the balance consisting of Cu and inevitable impurities. The corrosive action progresses in the form of an ants' nest from an outer surface of the heat transfer tube in a direction of its wall thickness, wherein. Also, use of a copper tube comprising 0.10-1.0% by weight of P and the balance consisting of Cu and inevitable impurities for improving corrosion-resistance against ant nest corrosion caused by a corrosive medium consisting of a lower carboxylic acid in a damp environment, method of inhibiting ants' nest corrosion in a heat transfer tube, and a method of positioning a tube in an air conditioning apparatus or a refrigeration apparatus.

Abstract: A heat exchanger for a fuel cell is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes at least two tube bodies that are arranged at a distance from one another and are in each case structured so that a fluid can flow through internally and so that air can flow around externally. A water channel, through which water can flow fluidically separated from the fluid, is arranged in or on at least one tube body. At least one opening, via which the water channel communicates fluidically with an external environment of the at least one tube body, is provided on the at least one tube body. The at least one opening is arranged in the at least one tube body so that at least one of the tube bodies can be wetter with water, which is guided through the water channel and escapes the water channel through the at least one opening.
