A method of forming an image on a substrate includes applying the colorant solution comprising a reactive colorant and a radiation absorber to the substrate. A composition for dying a substrate includes a radiation absorber and a reactive colorant capable of producing a color on the substrate when exposed to radiation. A system utilizing the colorant solution is also disclosed.

摘要： A coloring composition added to a solid such as a solid resin is disclosed. The composition includes (i) a soluble coloring agent precursor obtained by substituting a hydrogen atom of a NH group of a pigment molecule having at least one NH group with an alkoxycarbonyl group of the following general formula (1): wherein R represents a tert-butyl group, a tert-amyl group, a 2-phenyl-2-propyl group or a diphenylmethyl group, (ii) an acid proliferation agent newly generating an acid by an action of an acid, and (iii) an acid former generating an acid by the action of activation energy rays or heat.

摘要： This invention relates to a black-pigmented high molecular weight organic material which is structured from a radiation-sensitive precursor by irradiation, the pigmentation of which material consists of coloured organic pigments, at least one of which is in latent form before irradiation. This material is preferably used as a thin layer which is built up in the form of patterns on a transparent substrate and which can be used, for example, as black matrix for optical colour filters. This invention also relates to a process for the preparation of this material as well as to novel soluble derivatives of yellow disazo condensation pigments which can be used in this process.
