摘要: A linear motion control device for use in a linear control system is presented. The linear motion control device includes a coil driver to drive a coil that, when driven, effects a linear movement by a motion device having a magnet. The linear motion control device also includes a magnetic field sensor to detect a magnetic field associated with the linear movement and an interface to connect an output of the magnetic field sensor and an input of the coil driver to an external controller. The interface includes a feedback loop to relate the magnetic field sensor output signal to the coil driver input.

摘要: There is provided a long-proportional-stroke force motor whose force vs. stroke characteristic provides a long stroke in which a constant force is output proportional to the exciting current in magnitude without involvement of problems in actual use, and which does not impose any limitations on the stroke so as to effectively use the stroke.A long-proportional-stroke force motor 1 includes a magnetic circuit configured such that a spacer 12 made of a non-magnetic material intervenes between a guide 11 made of a magnetic material and a sleeve 13 made of a magnetic material, and an armature 3 provided movably within the magnetic circuit. A side, located opposite to the armature 3, of a sectional profile of an end portion of the guide 11 adjacent to the spacer 12 assumes a curve which satisfies both expressions in the following Expression 7, Y X > 0 , 2 Y X 2 > 0 , [ Expression 7 ] where X is a coordinate of an axial direction of the guide; a positive direction of an X-axis is a direction in which the armature is attracted through the application of exiting current; and Y is a coordinate on the guide along a direction orthogonal to the X-axis.

摘要: An optical device. A guide bar is connected to a base, with a first central axis in an optical axis direction of the optical device. A coil slides on the guide bar and has a second central axis in the optical axis direction and a first central elevation axis. The second central axis is perpendicular to the first central elevation axis. A fixed magnetic member is disposed in the coil and has a central magnetizing axis and a second central elevation axis. The central magnetizing axis is perpendicular to the second central elevation axis and aligned with the second central axis of the coil. The second central elevation axis is separated from the first central elevation axis. A lens housing is connected to the coil. When the coil is energized by application of a current, a magnetic force is generated, moving the coil and lens housing along the guide bar.

摘要: An optical device. At least one guide bar is connected to a base. A coil is disposed in the base. A central axis of the coil in an optical axis direction of the optical device is parallel to a central axis of the guide bar in the optical axis direction. A lens housing is slidably fitted on the guide bar. A central axis of the lens housing in the optical axis direction is parallel to that of the guide bar. The lens housing slides along the central axis of the guide bar. A magnetic member is connected to the lens housing opposite the coil, providing a first magnetic field. When the coil is energized to generate a second magnetic field, the lens housing slides on the guide bar by attraction or repulsion of the first and second magnetic fields.

摘要: At least one set of two magnets is provided, at least one of the magnets having an outer magnet portion, a middle magnet portion, and an inner magnet portion. The outer magnet portion has a magnetization pointing in an at least partially axial direction. The middle magnet portion has a magnetization substantially perpendicular to the magnetization of the outer magnet portion. The inner magnet portion has a magnetization directed substantially anti-parallel to the magnetization of the outer magnet portion. The apparatus also includes at least one electrically conductive coil positioned at least partially between the set of two magnets. At least one substantially magnetically permeable object is positioned at least partially between the set of two magnets. A rod is integral with the substantially magnetically permeable object.

摘要: A thermo-sensitive actuator capable of operating without the need of providing a temperature detector as a separate member. The actuator includes a stator made of a magnetic material to form a yoke. A rotor is rotatably provided in an opening provided in the stator. The actuator further includes pole pieces for magnetically connecting the stator and the rotor. A magnetic source is provided in any of the magnetic paths formed by the constituent elements. A thermo-sensitive magnetic material, which shows a change in magnetic characteristics, e.g. permeability, saturated magnetic flux density, or residual magnetic flux density, according to temperature, is provided in a part of the magnetic paths.

摘要: A core made of a soft magnetic material is supported to be movable, and a permanent magnet is mounted to move with the core. At least one electrically conductive drive coil is located adjacent the core and one pole of the permanent magnet. A casing, made of a soft magnetic material, is located adjacent to the drive. An electrically conductive sense coil is located adjacent one end of the core, such that when electrical current is passed through the drive coil in a first direction, the core is moved in a first direction and an electrical property associated with the sense coil is altered, thereby indicating the position of the core, and when electrical current is passed through the drive coil in a second direction, the core is moved in a second direction and an electrical property associated with the sense coil is altered, thereby indicating the position of the core.

摘要: An improved electromagnetic actuator of the type comprising (a) a first assembly; (b) a second assembly movable relative to the first assembly along an axis of relative movement in response to a command signal, the second assembly comprising magnetic flux source means for defining radially directed flux both in an inward and outward direction relative to the axis of relative movement; (c) coil assembly means for defining at least two coil segments respectively disposed in the paths of the flux in the inward and outward directions; and (d) means for applying the command signal to the coil segments so that a current flows in one direction around the axis through the inward directed flux, and flows in the opposite direction around the axis through the outward directed flux so that the flux/current force applied between the first and second assemblies is additive. In accordance with one aspect of the invention flat magnets and flux focussing elements are used to provide the radially directed flux. In accordance with another aspect the coil sections are wound onto a core element to provide an attached coil design. Finally, a brushless actuator design is disclosed.
