Abstract:
A spray device (100) for spraying a liquid (L), the device comprises a tank (10) containing the liquid (L) for spraying, at least one liquid ejector member (20) in communication with said tank (10), and a pyrotechnic gas generator (30) for pressurizing the liquid inside said tank and propelling it under pressure out from said tank. According to the invention, in at least one mode of operation, the ejector member (20) is in communication with the gas generator (30) in such a manner as to enable it to be fed with the gas generated by said generator (30).
Abstract:
A nozzle for producing a liquid jet a fluid, methods using the nozzle, and an injector comprising the nozzle of the invention for providing the liquid jet of a fluid to a vacuum system are described.
Abstract:
A device including a centrifugal separator for cleaning of a gas, especially a gas containing impurities in the form of solid and/or liquid particles, includes a stationary casing enclosing a separation space, an inlet channel, a rotating member in the separation space for separating at least a main part of the impurities from the gas, a gas outlet channel, and an outlet for discharging a separated phase of the gas. A supply member is provided for supplying a liquid, in the form of an aerosol, to the gas to be cleaned and which comprises a supply conduit with an outlet end, and an ejector nozzle connectable to a pressurised gas conduit and including a nozzle outlet. The nozzle outlet at the outlet end permits ejection of the aerosol from the outlet end by means of the pressurised gas supplied to the ejector nozzle and the nozzle outlet.
Abstract:
A self-contained portable liquid cosmetic delivery system for both color makeup and skin care applications is provided. The system includes a spray nozzle assembly having both a liquid path and air path communicates with the housing containing a peristaltic and diaphragm pumping systems. A removable cartridge assembly that allows for very quick changing of cosmetic, while also including a cartridge housing that not only configured to enable the use of a peristaltic pump and diaphragm pump to selectively dispense liquid cosmetic contained in the cartridge housing, it can be manufactured at a reduced cost thus making the same easily cleanable and essentially disposable.
Abstract:
A nozzle for spraying liquid substances, dispersions, emulsions or suspensions into a fluidized granulator system is provided. The invention provides a generic nozzle, especially for use in the food industry and chemical industry which has good accessibility while being easy to disassemble and assemble without great effort for a required cleaning process. The inner tube (3) of the nozzle is mounted inside a receiving block (11) that is detachably fastened to a tube (10) which is disposed in a fixed manner in a bottom area of a base lance member (9) and can be removed therefrom along with the inner tube (3) and any add-on pieces possibly joined to the inner tube. A fastening device (8) detachably connects the nozzle to the process housing (15) of the fluidized bed granulator system and is arranged in the bottom area of the outer tube (2) of the nozzle.
Abstract:
A spray gun including a gun body having an air inlet channel, an air expansion chamber and an air distribution chamber. The air inlet channel and the air expansion chamber are interconnected by an orifice for achieving sonic velocities and reducing the pressure of the air. The air expansion chamber and air distribution chamber are interconnected by a distribution disc which allows the air to flow from the air expansion chamber into the air distribution chamber for distribution out of an air outlet nozzle at low pressure for atomizing paint.
Abstract:
A spray apparatus is disclosed which is capable of producing a sharp-edged layer of coating in overlap over the surfaces coated in a different color so as to provide a distinctly divided two-tone pattern of wide dimensions without using masking tape. The spray apparatus comprises a first spray means and at least one second spray means different in nozzle design from the first spray means. In the first spray means, a film of coating is produced by an airless type paint discharge nozzle discharging a spray of atomized paint under pressure in an otherwise conical shape which is to be altered in spray formation by a jet of pressurized air whose axis is offset from the axis of the spray of paint and this film is thick enough along one edge and in the center while decreasing in coating toward the opposite edge. In the second spray means, the spray of atomized paint is shaped into a symmetrical cone by a controlled jet of pressurized air, with the resultant film of coating being thick enough in the center and decreasing in thickness toward both edges. The first and second spray means are spaced apart from operation such that the entire coated area will come as a layer of uniform coating, with the opposing edges of the films overlapping to provide a coating as thick as in their center portions.
Abstract:
Electrostatic deposition of air atomized liquid coating materials by adjusting the conductivity of the coating material and the voltage applied thereto so that virtually no air ionization occurs. Thus, essentially all of the current reaching the object to be coated is carried by the sprayed material thus minimizing the charge build-up on the subject, and eliminating charge accumulation on ungrounded objects out of the spray zone.
