摘要: An overall controller of a console acquires a radiation image of an imaging subject captured by a radiation image capture device for radiographic imaging. The overall controller also acquires body thickness information indicating a body thickness of the imaging subject in a direction in which radiation passes through. The overall controller also adds to the radiation image an assist line image that have would be expected to be obtained if a predetermined member had been disposed and captured at a position inside the imaging subject determined based on the acquired body thickness information, or at a position between the imaging subject and the radiation image capture device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and related computer program products for processing and displaying computer-aided detection (CAD) information associated with medical breast x-ray images, such as breast x-ray tomosynthesis volumes, are described. An interactive graphical user interface for displaying a tomosynthesis data volume is described that includes a display of a two-dimensional composited image having slabbed sub-images spatially localized to marked CAD findings. Also described is a graphical navigation tool for optimized CAD-assisted viewing of the data volume, comprising a plurality of CAD indicator icons running near and along a slice ruler, each CAD indicator icon spanning a contiguous segment of the slice ruler and corresponding in depthwise position and extent to a subset of image slices spanned by the associated CAD finding, each CAD indicator icon including at least one single-slice highlighting mark indicating a respective image slice containing viewable image information corresponding to the associated CAD finding.

摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for displaying a two-dimensional cross-sectional image of an arbitrary base plane which matches to the subject's head without creating extra labor to the operator even when the subject's head is asymmetrical. The apparatus is connected to a display unit for displaying a cross-sectional image of a head. The apparatus comprising: a conversion parameter obtaining unit for obtaining a conversion parameter indicating a difference in shape between a standard head and a subject's head based on a volume data; a subject base plane generating unit for generating an anatomical base plane of the subject's head based on the conversion parameter and an anatomical base plane of the standard head; and a cross-sectional reconstruction unit for generating a cross-sectional image of the anatomical base plane of the subject's head based on the volume data of the subject's head and displaying said cross-sectional image on the display unit.

摘要: A hierarchical workflow is configured to associate examination information captured using an imaging platform with contextual metadata. The examination information may include ultrasound image data, which may be associated with annotations, measurements, pathology, body markers, and/or the like. The hierarchical workflow may comprise templates associated with respective anatomical regions, locations, volumes, and/or surfaces. A template may define configuration data to automatically adapt the imaging platform to capture imaging data in the corresponding anatomical region. The template may further include guidance information for the operator, including processing steps for capturing relevant examination information. Additional examination information may be captured and included in the hierarchical workflow.

摘要: A method to visualize and correct alignment errors between paired 2D and 3D data sets is described. In a representative embodiment, a display interface used for dental implant planning includes one or more display areas that enable the operator to visualize alignment errors between the paired 2D and 3D data sets. A first display area renders 3D cone beam data. A second display area renders one or more (and preferably three (3) mutually orthogonal views) slices of the cone beam data. A third display area displays a view of a 2D scanned surface map (obtained from an intra-oral scan, or the scan of a model). According to a first aspect, the view of the 2D scanned surface map in the third display area is “textured” by coloring the 2D surface model based on the intensity of each 3D pixel (or “voxel”) that it intersects.

One system includes a stand-alone imaging station including a housing that includes a first housing module and a second housing module, a diagnostic imaging device, and a door. The first housing module and the second housing module are separate and configured to be assembled together. The diagnostic imaging device is contained within the housing and includes a radiation source and a radiation detector. The door is coupled to the housing and is configured to allow a patient to enter the housing. The door includes a lock configured to maintain the door in a locked state at least while the diagnostic imaging device captures the diagnostic image.

摘要: Method for positioning an artificial heart valve at the anatomic position of a malfunctioning heart valve of a heart of a patient, by employing a catheter bearing the artificial heart valve and a valve fixation device, at the tip of the catheter, the method including the procedures of receiving a marking input associated with an image of the heart, and respective of the anatomic position, in a medical positioning system (MPS) coordinate system, moving the tip toward the anatomic position, constantly detecting the current position of the artificial heart valve, and producing an indication when the current position substantially matches the anatomic position, thereby enabling the catheter to fix the malfunctioning heart valve in place, by the valve fixation device.

摘要: Imaging data including images associated with a patient may be received. A subset of the images that are used with a model that is associated with the position and motion of a targeted region of the patient to receive radiation treatment may be identified. The subset of images may be sorted. A graphical user interface (GUI) that identifies two or more of the images of the sorted subset may be provided. A selection associated with one of the images of the sorted subset may be received by the GUI. Furthermore, a new model to identify the targeted region based on the selection that is associated with one of the two or more images may be generated.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a medical image diagnosis apparatus is capable of imaging a subject based on a scan plan. The medical image diagnosis apparatus includes a gantry, a bed, a display, and a controller. The gantry images the subject. The bed includes a top-plate upon which the subject is positioned. The display is attached to the gantry. The controller displays, based on the scan plan, one of a moving distance of the top-plate, a moving direction of the top-plate, and a scan mode based on the scan plan.
