    摘要: The glove includes a hand portion, a sleeve portion integral to the hand portion and extending conically outward, a cuff portion integral with the sleeve portion and extending conically outward, and a connection portion between the cuff portion and the sleeve portion. The cuff portion folds over the sleeve portion at the connection portion. The connection portion includes at least one annular ridge with a respective surface, a first V-shaped channel on a first side of the surface, and a second V-shaped channel on a second side of the surface. The V-shaped channels form creases or bottom portions with a thickness smaller than either the sleeve portion, rim portion, or cuff portion. The V-shaped channel preset a pivot for folding the cuff portion over the sleeve portion.

    摘要: A glove with an enhanced gripping textured surface is disclosed herein. In preferred embodiments, the glove contains a palm region adapted to cover the palm of a person's hand, a thumb region extending outwardly from the palm region, an index finger region disposed adjacent the thumb region, a middle finger region adjacent the index finger region, a ring finger region adjacent the middle finger region, and a little finger region adjacent the ring finger region with each region containing a textured surface. In preferred embodiments, the textured surface is formed by a plurality of dimensionally hierarchical structures superimposed in layers. The textured surface of the invention, when in contact with wet tissue, repels water at a first texture layer and traps tissue at a second texture layer, such that when in tissue contact, especially exudative tissue, tissue fixatively localizes to the glove surface.

    摘要: This application relates to synthetic elastomeric articles, such as gloves, comprising the cured product of a synthetic latex composition, the synthetic latex composition comprising a synthetic carboxylated polymer and a cross-linking composition, the cross-linking composition comprising an aqueous solution of a negatively charged multivalent metal complex ion having a pH of at least 9.0. Also described are compositions for forming the articles, and methods for making the articles, based on the use of the described cross-linking composition. The articles, compositions and methods contain an aqueous solution of a multimetal oxide of the multivalent metal, a hydroxide of the multivalent metal, or a salt of the multivalent metal, such as sodium aluminate, in an amount of less than 0.3 phr. The articles produced have a thickness of between 0.01-3 mm and an unaged tensile strength of at least 15 MPa.

    摘要: A disposable medical glove is provided that includes one or more anti-contamination pockets configured to receive a stethoscope diaphragm and thereby protect it from contamination during patient examinations. Additionally, it frees the use of the user's fingers and can be used to store additional objects. In a preferred embodiment, the medical glove comprises an ambidextrous glove body having a pocket on both sides of the glove. Each pocket can be utilized in two configurations. In the first configuration, the pocket is accessed from the outside of the glove and holds the diaphragm against the palmar side of the user's hand. In the second configuration, the pocket is accessed from the inside of the glove and holds the diaphragm a distance from the user's palm, allowing the user to manipulate the diaphragm with their fingers. In an alternate embodiment, the glove has a single dual-configuration pocket on the palmar side.

The system can include a stripping apparatus including an actuation device for peeling the article from the mold and inverting the article, and a donning device to receive the inverted article. The system may position the article about a mandrel of the donning device. The mandrel may expand or separate to engage the interior of the inverted article to securely hold the article on the mandrel. The donning device may be coupled to a continuous loop conveyor chain to carry the donning device and the mounted article through on-line secondary processing.

In one embodiment, the digits include at least one major bend. In another embodiment, each of the digits includes two bends. By adopting a shape for the surgical glove that mimics the position of the surgeon's hand while holding a surgical implement, finger stress and hand fatigue during a prolonged surgical procedure can be significantly reduced.

    摘要: The present invention is to an improved glove having both anatomically correlating stress relief zones and/or reinforced zones to add support in areas opposite the stress relief zones to keep bunching or slipping of the glove from interfering with the bending of the user's joints. The glove may have corrugated relief zones over some or all of the joints and knuckles of the hand, wherein the relief zones are formed of peaks and valleys. A relief zone can also be provided over the webbing between the thumb and the palm. The vertical or longitudinal relief zones provide for improved glove quality while keeping manufacturing difficulty and costs at a minimum.
