    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a bending area located between a first area and a second area. The substrate is bent in relation to a bending axis. A first wiring unit including a plurality of first wirings is arranged on the substrate to sequentially extend over the first area, the bending area, and the second area. First central axes included in each of the plurality of first wirings are spaced apart from each other by a first pitch in the bending area. A second wiring unit including a plurality of second wirings is arranged on the substrate to sequentially extend over the first area, the bending area, and the second area. Second central axes included in each of the plurality of second wirings are spaced apart from each other by a second pitch greater than the first pitch in the bending area.

    Abstract: Provided is a display apparatus including: a substrate in which a display element is arranged; a first thin film transistor arranged in the display area and including a first semiconductor layer including silicon and a first control electrode insulated from the first semiconductor layer; a first interlayer insulating layer covering the first control electrode; a second thin film transistor arranged on the first interlayer insulating layer and including a second semiconductor layer including an oxide semiconductor and a second control electrode insulated from the second semiconductor layer; a second interlayer insulating layer covering the second control electrode; a node connection line arranged on the second interlayer insulating layer and connected to the first control electrode via a first contact hole; a first planarization layer covering the node connection line; and a shielding electrode arranged on the first planarization layer to overlap the node connection line.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate having a display area with a display device to display an image, and a non-display area around the display area. The non-display area has a bending area bent about a bending axis. An encapsulation layer is located over the display area. A touchscreen layer is located over the encapsulation layer and includes a touch electrode. A touch wire is connected to the touch electrode, and extends from an upper portion of the encapsulation layer, and at least partially into the bending area. A fan-out wire configured to apply an electric signal to the display area and is at least partially disposed in the bending area. The touch wire and the fan-out wire are on different layers from each other in the bending area.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a signal controller to generate first to fourth image data from first to third input image signals; a pixel to subsequently receive first to fourth data voltages corresponding to the first to fourth image data during first to fourth subframe periods; a backlight including first to third light emitting elements configured to generate light of first to third colors, respectively; and a backlight driver. The backlight driver is to selectively switch the first to third light emitting elements based on color information of the first to fourth image data, to turn on at least one of the first to third light emitting elements during each of the first to fourth subframe periods, and to switch the first to third light emitting elements to provide light of a same color to the pixel during two subframe periods from among the first to fourth subframe periods.
