摘要: Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes determining a configuration associated with sidelink for at least one communication; monitoring for at least one SCI after entering a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) on phase based on the configuration; receiving, from one or more other UEs, the at least one SCI during the sidelink DRX on phase for at least one communication; and determining an extension to the sidelink DRX on phase based on the at least one SCI scheduling at least one first resource for one or more transmissions.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of operating a user equipment for wireless communication with a network. In some aspects, the UE establishes a connection to a network and obtains a control plane message from the network. The control plane message may include one or more types of policy information if a size of the one or more types of policy information is less than or equal to a maximum payload size of the control plane message, or information indicating at least a network location from where the one or more types of policy information may be obtained by the UE over a user plane if the size of the one or more types of policy information is greater than the maximum payload size of the control plane message, or a combination thereof. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) (e.g., a relay UE) may establish a relay connection for routing communications between a network entity (e.g., a base station) and a second UE (e.g., a remote UE). The relay connection may include a sidelink connection and an access link connection. The remote UE may transmit a request to the network entity via the relay UE. The request may include a relay service code associated with the sidelink connection, as well as a request for quality of service (QoS) support for the relay connection. Based on the request, the network entity may determine a QoS configuration for the relay connection. The network entity may indicate the QoS configuration to the UEs via the relay connection. The UEs may adjust parameters of the relay connection to meet the specifications of the QoS configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating that a base station supports allocating resources for sidelink communications using a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT that is different from the first RAT. The UE may transmit a sidelink information message to the base station using the first RAT that indicates that sidelink communications are to be performed using either the second RAT or both the first RAT and the second RAT. The UE may receive a configuration message from the base station that comprises an identifier for the sidelink communications and an indication of available sidelink resources. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration message, a request for resources within the available sidelink resources, the request indicating the identifier and a buffer status report (BSR).

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for the configuration and operation of a multi-hop relay at different layers to enable a remote user equipment (UE) to act as a relay for a client UE that may be out of coverage of a network. For example, a network relay UE may establish a communication link with the network, and the network relay UE may transmit, to a remote UE, a relay configuration that authorizes the remote UE as a multi-hop relay to provide a connection to the network for one or more other UEs. The remote UE may transmit an acknowledgement to the network relay UE in response to receiving the relay configuration, and the remote UE may then transmit a relay discovery message including multi-hop relay information based on receiving the relay configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may establish a sidelink connection with a second UE, where the sidelink connection is associated with a plurality of flows. The first UE may determine, based on monitoring each flow of the plurality of flows, a radio link status of the sidelink connection. The first UE may transmit, based on the determining, a non-access stratum layer message to the second UE based at least on the radio link status of the sidelink connection.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network. A relay node in an TAB network may be assigned a first resource partition that is different from a second resource partition for the child and parent nodes. Based on a resource configuration (e.g., for a slot) of the second resource partition, the relay node may opportunistically utilize the second resource partition for communications. For instance, the relay node may determine a direction table based on the resource configurations of the child and parent nodes, which may be used to perform uplink or downlink communications in one or more symbols of the second resource partition. The relay node may also identify flexible symbols as free or non-free when determining the direction table.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink groupcast communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a beam training request to a base station to determine beams for use with other UEs in a sidelink groupcast communications group. The base station may receive the beam training request, identify wireless resources that a group of UEs may use to perform beam training, and may transmit a beam training grant to each UE of the group of UEs. The UE may transmit a number of training beams using the wireless resources provided in the beam training grant, and the other UEs may measure received signals on the wireless resources to identify one or more beams. Each UE may provide a beam training report to the base station. The base station, based on the beam training reports, may determine beams and resources for use in the groupcast sidelink communications.
