摘要: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus for selecting transport formats in a wireless transmitting device and wireless communication device associated therewith, wherein the wireless transmitting device supports transmission modes including single-stream transmission mode and multiple-stream transmission mode and comprises a transmit buffer to buffer data before transport format being selected for transmitting said data to a wireless receiving device, comprising: acquiring radio qualities associated with each stream being transmitted to the wireless receiving device; setting the transmission mode according to received radio qualities; detecting whether there is buffer limitation for said transmit buffer when multiple-stream transmission mode is set; and when buffer limitation is detected and multiple-stream transmission mode is selected for stream transmission, allocating the buffered data among the multiple streams based on the received radio qualities associated with respective streams and selecting transport formats for respective streams of the multiple streams based on their respective allocated buffered data quantities. This enables to obviate the TX power imbalance in case of multiple-stream transmissions, balance code and power usage among UEs in a cell, and thus improve code multiplexing efficiency.

摘要: Methods and devices are provided whereby a cellular radio network, in particular a node in the network is configured to dynamically transmit data to UE from different cells while considering information that is not known to a central node, such as an RNC. This can in accordance with some embodiments be accomplished by decoupling the procedure of handling a set of cells form which simultaneous transmission of data to a UE can take place.

摘要: User grouping is employed to tradeoff the COMP forward link capacity and required reverse link feedback, which makes the design of COMP practical and flexible. A channel element, such as the large scale fading, is measured for each distributed transmitter and UE pair based on reference signals, and the network receives this information as feedback in the reverse link. The COMP determines a maximum cross interference level αreq that is affordable, based on the available reverse link capacity for feedback. If this maximum cross interference level αreq is exceeded, geographically separate UEs are divided into as few groups as possible, with UEs within each group separated, and the groups are allocated different time/frequency resource blocks. The grouping is done with the constraint that the cross interference does not exceed αreq.

摘要: In a radio network in which multiple base stations can communicate with multiple user terminals in a coordinated way, user terminals may be grouped into groups, each group representing a coordination scheme to be used for user terminals in the group. The groups may be chosen, for example, according to path loss or QoS requirements Preferably there are three groups requiring no coordination, multiuser coherent coordination and single user coherent coordination respectively. Grouping may be done dynamically according to one or more of the following factors: —the terminal's signalling overhead —the affordable processing complexity —the traffic load —the radio conditions. The grouping unit may be placed in one or more base stations or in any other suitable unit in the network.

The method comprises receiving, by at least one of two D2D user equipment (UEs) in D2D communication, resource allocation information and assistance information from a base station (BS), wherein the assistance information is used to divide resources conveyed by the resource allocation information into different types based upon correspondingly different interference sources. The method further comprises performing respective link adaptation based upon the respective different types of resources. With the present invention, better high quality communication links can be achieved. Furthermore, resource allocation in the hybrid network could be improved and becomes more efficient over the prior art.

摘要: According to a first aspect of embodiments herein, the object is achieved by a method in a base station for handling a process of discovering a candidate user equipment for Device to Device, D2D, communication in a cell. The cell is served by the base station. The base station divides (200) the cell into a number of regions. The base station then assigns (201) to each one out of the number of regions, a channel resource for use in the region. The channel resource is for sending beacon signals in the process of discovering the D2D candidate user equipment.
