An information storage apparatus includes a transmission unit that transmits configuration information to an operation terminal connected to the information storage apparatus, the configuration information indicating whether the information storage apparatus is configured to store location information of the operation terminal; a control unit that performs a process requested by a request sent from the operation terminal; and a storage control unit that stores, in a storage unit of the information storage apparatus, the location information of the operation terminal in association with information related to the process requested by the request. When the configuration information indicates that the information storage apparatus is configured to store the location information, the control unit performs the process requested by the request only when the location information is received from the operation terminal together with the request.

A solid-state image pickup device capable of taking more light into light receiving regions is provided. The solid-state image pickup device of the present invention includes: a photoelectric conversion unit having a plurality of light receiving regions that are two-dimensionally arrayed, the photoelectric conversion unit for photoelectrically converting light incident on each of the light receiving regions, and outputting an electric signal according to the intensity of the incident light; a lens unit comprising a plurality of converging lenses provided on an upper layer of the photoelectric conversion unit, each of the converging lens being provided corresponding to a set of continuous first to third light receiving regions; and a dispersing element provided between the photoelectric conversion unit and the lens unit, the dispersing element being formed of a medium whose refractive index varies periodically, and diffracting beams of a first wavelength band and of a third wavelength band, having been transmitted through the converging lens, and directing the beams onto the first light receiving region and the third light receiving region, and transmitting, without diffracting, a beam of a second wavelength band, having been transmitted through the converging lens, and directing the beam onto the second light receiving region.

A cell image display apparatus comprising: a parameter value obtainer for obtaining characteristic parameter values based on a plurality of cell images obtained by imaging a sample including the plurality of cells, wherein each of the characteristic parameter values respectively indicates characteristic of each of the cells; a type determiner for determining types of the cells based on the characteristic parameter values obtained by the parameter value obtainer; a display; and a display controller for controlling the display so as to display the cell images in a sequence based on the types of the cells obtained by the type determiner and the characteristic parameter values obtained by the parameter value obtainer.
