    摘要： The following invention is a method and apparatus for the restricted transfer of funds that allows for users to set a transfer amount they are willing to transfer, place restrictions on the transfer of the funds through the insertion of a restriction identity or category, transfer the funds to a second bank account subject to the restrictions placed on the funds. This invention allows payor's to associate restrictions on future expenses such as which merchant, which category of item, or which specific item a payee is allowed to purchase. Further, a method for the creation of a secure digital check is disclosed and claimed.

    摘要： A first referral hyperlink, corresponding to a referral of a product offered by or associated with a merchant, is received from a first party. The first referral hyperlink is parsed into data elements including a referring user identifier, and at least one of a merchant identifier and a central depository identifier. Format instructions are received from the merchant or a central depository of referral information, specifying a predetermined hyperlink format for embedding data related to the referring site within a hyperlink. An identifier is created, which is configured to identify the referring site, a payment depository for processing fees payable to the referring site, a posting fee rate, or a discount made available by the referring site. In accordance with the format instructions, a second referral hyperlink is generated, having embedded therein the identifier and at least one of the parsed data elements.

    摘要： A product-lifting display and merchandising system is provided which includes a bottom platform formed of solid molded plastic and having one or more feet extending from an underside surface thereof A top deck has a planar horizontal upper surface for supporting a quantity of stacked product thereon. One or more movable support members are connected between the bottom platform and the top deck for dynamically adjusting a vertical position of the top deck relative to the bottom platform. There is a compression member positioned between the bottom platform and the top deck. The compression member supplies a lifting force to the top deck in opposition to a weight of the stacked product. As the weight of the stacked product is reduced due to gradual removal by consumers, the top deck rises to maintain a top layer of the stacked product at a determined height for ease of accessibility by the consumers.

The measurement engine computes a comparison value on the program's image in memory and determines if the comparison value matches the expected integrity check value. If the values do not match, the program's image is determined to be modified, and appropriate remedial action can be triggered. The integrity manifest can include a secure signature to verify the validity of the integrity manifest.

    摘要： A hardware-based method and system classifies and processes data sets according to a set of rules. In one aspect of the invention, the operations associated with data set analysis and classification are offloaded from an interface processor to one or more embedded processors operating in parallel with the interface processor. A set of rules for classifying a data set is represented by instruction sequences stored in the embedded processors' memory. The embedded processors include data set parser logic to decompose data sets into relevant units and rules engine logic for executing the sequence of instructions to determine the classification of data sets. The rules engine logic returns the results of classifying the data sets to the interface processor.

    摘要： The growth hormone supergene family comprises greater than 20 structurally related cytokines and growth factors. A general method is provided for creating site-specific, biologically active conjugates of these proteins. The method involves adding cysteine residues to non-essential regions of the proteins or substituting cysteine residues for non-essential amino acids in the proteins using site-directed mutagenesis and then covalently coupling a cysteine-reactive polymer or other type of cysteine-reactive moiety to the proteins via the added cysteine residue. Disclosed herein are preferred sites for adding cysteine residues or introducing cysteine substitutions into the proteins, and the proteins and protein derivatives produced thereby. Also disclosed are therapeutic methods for using the cysteine variants of the invention.
