Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may communicate, with an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor, an indication associated with establishing a sidelink connection between the wireless node and an IAB node. The wireless node may receive, from the IAB donor, a configuration that maps a routing identifier to a route that includes the sidelink connection between the wireless node and the IAB node. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a full-duplexing rule that indicates to refrain from using a transmission dropping rule for transmission direction conflicts that occur between uplink and downlink transmissions in a same symbol. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of a message during a symbol, where a transmission direction conflict arises between a first transmission direction of the message and a second transmission direction of the symbol. For example, the UE may identify a transmission direction conflict between an uplink transmission direction of the message and a downlink transmission direction of the symbol. The UE may communicate the message during the symbol based on the full-duplexing rule. The described techniques may enable the UE to attain reduced latency and higher throughput based on reducing a number of transmissions dropped by the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a network entity may output one or more transmissions as part of a beam sweeping operation using transmission parameters that consume less power, less system resources, or both. One or more transmission parameters, such as a modulation and coding scheme, amount of occupied resources, or any combinations thereof, may have a first value on a first subset of the set of system information messages, and a different value on a different subset of the set of system information messages. A synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission associated with an instance of a system information message may provide an indication of the one or more transmission parameters of the system information message. A receiving device, such as a user equipment (UE) may attempt to decode the system information message based on the indication provided in the SSB.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support one or more signaling-based mechanisms according to which the network entity may inform the UE of which time and frequency resources may be used for full-duplex communication. The network entity transmit a first message to configure multiple resource block (RB) sets for the UE, where each RB set is associated with unique identifying information. To inform the UE of which time and frequency resources may be used for full-duplex communication, the network entity may transmit a second message that indicates one or more slot formats on a per RB set basis. As such, the network entity may schedule the UE for full-duplex communication in accordance with indicating that overlapping symbols of a first RB set and a second RB set are allocated for uplink and downlink, respectively.

Abstract: In one aspect, resource selection may be performed where single frequency full-duplex (SFFD) UEs are present in a V2X system. Signaling and procedures may enable the coexistence of half-duplex (HD) and SFFD-capable UEs. Based on the resource reservation information obtained from other UEs, the SFFD UE may determine which among the reserved time-frequency resources is amenable for performing the SFFD operation. In one aspect, the time-frequency resources chosen for SFFD may partially or fully overlap with the reserved time-frequency resources, based on the self-interference cancellation capability of the SFFD UE, the RSRP, and/or the RSSI on the reserved time-frequency resources. Accordingly, the full-duplex capability of an SFFD-capable UE may be leveraged, and spectral efficiency improved.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel access in an unlicensed spectrum. An example method of wireless communication by a user equipment includes receiving a resource grant indicating a plurality of resource candidates for an uplink signal. The method also includes sensing for energy, in response to the resource grant, over one or more of the resource candidates in a first sensing occasion before a transmission occasion of the uplink signal. The method further includes transmitting, during the transmission occasion, the uplink signal using a subset of the resource candidates selected based at least in part on energy sensed in the first sensing occasion.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. In one method, a user equipment (UE) receives a timing synchronization signal (TSS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), with the TSS based at least in part on a timing of the TSS within a broadcast channel transmission time interval (BCH TTI); determines the timing of the TSS within the BCH TTI; and demodulates the PBCH based at least in part on the TSS. In another method, a base station allocates resources for a TSS and a PBCH within a BCH TTI; determines the TSS based at least in part on a timing of the TSS within the BCH TTI; and transmits, on the resources allocated for the TSS and the PBCH, the TSS and the PBCH, with the TSS transmitted as a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for the PBCH on at least one port used to transmit the TSS and the PBCH.
