摘要: Disclosed are a modified polyimide thin film and a manufacturing method thereof applied for colorless transparent flexible display technology. A material of the modified polyimide thin film has a following structural formula: wherein is selected from one of —R2- is selected from one of —O—, n is a degree of polymerization and n is a natural number. The obtained film possesses good heat resistance, excellent colorlessness and flexibility.

摘要: A method of forming a three dimensional fiber structure is disclosed which comprises the steps of a) providing a starting material which comprises liquid carrier, fibers and binder; b) passing the starting material over a substrate so as to deposit fibers onto the substrate; c) forming a three dimensional fiber matrix; and d) curing the binder. The flow of material onto the substrate may be controlled such that the flow of a starting material over the substrate is chaotic and fibers are laid down in a three dimensional structure containing a high proportion of voids. The preform may be pressurized while moist and is cured under pressure. The fibers may comprise carbon fibers; recycled carbon fiber has been found to be particularly useful. The resulting preform may be stochastic and is suitable for use in ablative and braking applications.

摘要: Calcein-PVA film and Calcein solution dosimeters is made for high dose applications. Systematic evaluation of dosimetric properties for the films is being conducted and was found useful for routine dosimeter in industrial radiation processing. The color bleaching of CA-PVA film and CA solution increases gradually with increasing absorbed dose in the dose range of 5-30 kGy for film, and 0.25-1 kGy for solution. The dose sensitivity increases significantly with increase of concentration of CA dye. The response of the CA-PVA films was slightly affected by relative humidity and temperature. The stability of film dosimeters and solutions after irradiation was very high and were stable for up to 30 days.

摘要: A method for printing a three-dimensional part with an additive manufacturing system, which includes providing a part material that compositionally has one or more semi-crystalline polymers and one or more secondary materials that are configured to retard crystallization of the one or more semi-crystalline polymers, where the one or more secondary materials are substantially miscible with the one or more semi-crystalline polymers. The method also includes melting the part material in the additive manufacturing system, forming at least a portion of a layer of the three-dimensional part from the melted part material in a build environment, and maintaining the build environment at an annealing temperature that is between a glass transition temperature of the part material and a cold crystallization temperature of the part material.

摘要: The technical solution relates to the field of processing polymers and can be used in various branches of the national economy for manufacturing hollow articles of the bodies-of-revolution type (tubes), and in particular for manufacturing semifinished biodegradable polymeric stents which are usable in medicine for replacing hollow organs, for example blood vessels. The apparatus for manufacturing thin-walled bodies of revolution comprises a heatable expander which is mounted rotatably about a longitudinal axis, and a feeder for supplying moldable material, said feeder being mounted above the expander so as to be movable therealong, wherein the lower part of the feeder is heatable, the expander is hollow with a reflective internal surface, and the heater of the expander is in the form of a laser, the radiation of which is transported into the expander. The use of the apparatus will make it possible to reduce the thermal action on a polymer when producing semi-finished articles with defined geometrical dimensions from polymeric materials.

摘要: A method for making a colorant film providing eye care includes following steps of providing a plurality of microcapsules containing hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution; mixing a hydrophilic monomer, a cross-linking agent, and an initiator to form a mixture; mixing the microcapsules, the mixture, a pigment, and a solvent to form a colorant material; printing the colorant material into a mold; and heating or irradiating the colorant material in the mold to copolymerize the hydrophilic monomer, the initiator, and the cross-linking agent. A colorant film, and the manufacture of an ophthalmic lens are also provided.

摘要: An apparatus for fabricating a polishing pad includes a conveyor belt, a casting station to form a layer of the polishing pad and to deliver the layer of the polishing pad onto the conveyor belt, a printing station including one or more printheads configured to deposit one or more layers to form a polishing pad, a motor to drive the conveyor belt, and an energy source. The one or more printheads include a plurality of nozzles configured to eject droplets of a liquid polishing pad material precursor on the layer formed by the casting station. The motor drives the conveyor belt while the one or more printheads eject the droplets such that droplets provide a layer of polishing pad material precursor. The energy source at least partially cure the pad material precursor to form a solidified layer of polishing pad material.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object layer by layer by applying and selectively solidifying a constituent material in powder form layer by layer by supply of energy has the steps: applying a layer (32+33) of the powdery constituent material (11) having a pre-determined height (h) onto a support (6) or a previously at least selectively solidified layer of the constituent material, and supplying energy (14) from an energy source (13) into the applied layer at positions corresponding to the cross sectional area of the object to be manufactured for selectively solidifying the constituent material. The step of applying the layer having the pre-determined height (h) is subdivided into a step of applying a first partial powder layer (32) having a first height (h1) which is smaller than the pre-determined height (h), and a step of at least applying a second partial powder layer (33) having a second height (h2) which is smaller than the pre-determined height (h), wherein the total height. (h1+112+ etc.) of the applied partial powder layers (32, 33, etc.) corresponds to the pre-determined height (h), and between the step of applying the first partial powder layer and the step of applying the second and possibly further partial powder layers, the powder layer applied last is heated.
