摘要: Touch or proximity sensors are integrated into control devices such as knobs, dials or wheels incorporated in a user control panel. A control output processor detects whether any of the sensors are outputting signals indicating that a control device is being touched (or nearly touched) by a user. The control output processor causes an associated display area to be highlighted or otherwise modified on a display screen to indicate to the user which control device is being touched. This feature allows for “no-look” interaction with control panels, and keeps the user's eyes focused on the relevant displays where the control devices produce effects. This allows users to preview and verify that the correct control device is being manipulated prior to taking any (potentially erroneous) control actions.

摘要: A wheel loader includes detectors and a controller. The detectors include at least an accelerator pedal angle detector that detects an accelerator displacement. The controller includes: a state judging unit that judges from a detection result provided by the detectors whether or not the wheel loader is in an excavation operation; and a torque-curve selector. The torque-curve selector selects one excavation torque curve when the wheel loader is judged to be in the excavation operation by the state judging unit, and selects one of two or more non-excavation torque curves depending on the accelerator displacement when the wheel loader is judged not to be in the excavation operation.

摘要: An agricultural round baler has an electronic control unit (ECU), a bale diameter sensor, a gate position sensor, and an electro-hydraulic valve that controls the flow to the gate lift cylinder. The ECU determines the height to which the gate must be raised based on the bale diameter. When the gate reaches the desired height, the ECU closes or restricts the electro-hydraulic valve for a brief period of time thereby momentarily slowing or stopping gate the gate. Momentarily trapping the bale between the gate and ground allows the bale to come to rest before the bale is released from the baler. The gate can then be fully opened so that the tractor and baler can be moved clear of the bale before closing the gate.

摘要: A method for operating a braking system of a vehicle having at least one brake-able wheel, a braking force variable, which represents a braking force, of a braking device associated with the wheel being increased during a braking operation until a locking tendency of the wheel is recognized, and then reduced to a certain value. It is provided that the braking force variable is subsequently set to a setpoint braking force variable, which corresponds to a selectable portion of the braking force variable present at the recognition of the locking tendency, for a certain time period. Also described is a control unit for implementing the method.
