摘要: A method for learning QoS performance inter-dependence of a plurality of communication links in a network managed by a central node, wherein the plurality of wireless links interface with a common application applying a joint figure of merit, comprising:
selecting at least two links among the plurality of communication links;
generating training requests respectively for each selected link;
measuring QoS performance on each selected link for the training requests; and
combining the measured QoS performance of the selected links, so as to obtain the QoS performance inter-dependence between the selected links.-

Systems and methods can include inspecting the information packet having a network level QoS field having a first network level QoS portion and a second network level QoS portion, determining an application sub-class or user class associated with the information packet, tagging the first network level QoS portion of the information packet according to a first network level QoS value, tagging the second network level QoS portion of the information packet according to a traffic priority indication and to a determined application sub-class or user class, and queuing the information packet for transmission from a network element based on the tagged first network level QoS portion and the second network level QoS portion.

摘要: Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms and apparatus for managing user equipment (UE) communications in a converged network by causing such UE to automatically select a “best” wireless network (cellular RAN/WiFi) without any user notification/interaction to the user of the UE, such as via the device user interface (UI). The best wireless network may be determined using contemporaneous QoS related measurements, or predicted QoS measurements such as provided by a RAN node or channel QoS model generated via machine learning techniques, which may also be used to determine a type of QoS needed for each application or service commonly invoked at the UE so as to automatically provide the best possible user experience without any user intervention.

The method includes collecting service quality reporting messages from moving communication partners, registered in the communication cell managed by the base station, wherein the collecting service quality reporting messages include collecting service quality reporting messages for direct communications between two moving communication partners and generating link-based quality of service maps for the communications between the base station and the moving communication partners, as well as for the direct communications between two of the moving communication partners. The method also includes predicting the quality of service for a communication between the base station and at least one moving communication partner based on the generated link-based quality of service maps map.

One method performed by a session management network element includes: determining a monitoring link for monitoring quality of service (QoS) of a service path between a first communications device and a second communications device; sending a first link quality reporting request to the first communications device, wherein the first link quality reporting request indicates the first communications device to report QoS information of the service path in response to one or more reporting conditions being satisfied; and receiving a first link quality notification message from the first communications device, wherein the first link quality notification message comprises the QoS information and an identifier of the monitoring link.

摘要: Embodiments of this application provide for a communication method and a related apparatus. In the method, an access and mobility management function network element receives a first correspondence between a first identifier and a quality of experience (QoE) target. The first correspondence includes the first identifier, the first identifier indicates an identifier of a first terminal device at an application layer, and the QoE target indicates a service QoE target of the first terminal device. The access and mobility management function network element determines a second identifier based on the first identifier. The access and mobility management function network element sends a second correspondence between the second identifier and the QoE target, where the second identifier indicates an identifier of the first terminal device in a network. According to the foregoing method, a service QoE requirement for a specified terminal device can be met.
