Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an edge repository may receive, from at least one first edge configuration server (ECS) associated with an operator of the edge repository, first information associated with edge computing resources associated with the at least one first ECS. Additionally, the edge repository may receive, from at least one additional edge repository, associated with at least one additional operator, second information associated with edge computing resources associated with at least one second ECS. Accordingly, the edge repository may transmit, to the at least one first ECS, the first information, the second information, or a combination thereof. Additionally, the edge repository may transmit, to the at least one additional edge repository associated with at least one additional operator, the first information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from an application client, a request to delegate edge enabler layer services. The request includes a list of edge enabler layer services for an edge enabler client (EEC) to manage on behalf of the application client. The method also includes transmitting, to the application client, an indication of which edge enabler layer services are authorized for the application client. The method further includes transmitting a confirmation that the EEC will handle authorized edge enabler layer services on behalf of the application client. The method still further includes executing one or more procedures related to the authorized edge enabler layer services on behalf of the application client. The procedure(s) includes edge enabler layer procedures, application procedures, and/or high level operating system (HILOS) procedures.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may establish a connection with a base station. The connection may correspond to one or more quality of service (QoS) flows for communications between the UE and the base station. The base station may transmit a configuration for a QoS flow to the UE in response to establishing the connection. The configuration for the QoS flow may include a set of one or more parameters specific to a direction of the QoS flow. The UE and the base station may communicate data in the direction of the QoS flow in accordance with the set of one or more parameters.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for managing quality of service for protocol data unit (PDU) Sets include providing alternative service requirements for Protocol Data Unit (PDU) Sets supporting data traffic of an application executing on a user equipment (UE) in which the alternative service requirements for PDU Sets include one or more quality of service (QoS) reference parameters and a combination of a PDU Set Delay Budget (PSDB) value, a PDU Set Error Rate (PSER) value, and a Guaranteed Flow Bit Rate (GFBR) value to which the application can adapt. Apparatuses and methods further include adapting parameters for PDU set in response to indications that a link between the UE and the network can no longer guarantee QoS flow transport of the PDU Sets.

DISCOVERY OF EDGE APPLICATION SERVER ACROSS NETWORKS

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for discovery, by a user connected to a first network, of an edge application server (EAS) associated with a second network. In some aspects, techniques described herein provide a shared EAS discovery function (EASDF), which allows users connected to different home networks to discover EASs across a plurality of networks. Some techniques described herein provide communication between EASDFs of different networks. Thus, a user connected to a first network can discover an EAS of a second network, which enables sharing of EASs across networks. Furthermore, techniques described herein provide communication between a UE connected to a first network and an edge data network (EDN) (such as an EAS hosted by the EDN) of a second network, such as by establishing a connection between a user plane function of the first network associated with the UE and a network entity of the second network.
