摘要: A plasma display panel is disclosed. The plasma display panel includes a scan electrode and a sustain electrode positioned parallel to each other on a front substrate, an upper dielectric layer positioned on the scan electrode and the sustain electrode, a rear substrate on which an address electrode is positioned to intersect the scan electrode and the sustain electrode, a lower dielectric layer positioned on the address electrode, and a barrier rib positioned between the front substrate and the rear substrate. The barrier rib includes lead (Pb) equal to or less than 1,000 ppm (parts per million). A discharge gas is filled between the front substrate and the rear substrate and includes helium (He) of 9% to 42%.

摘要: A plasma display panel including: a front substrate; a rear substrate; address electrodes extending in a first direction on the rear substrate; barrier ribs between the front and rear substrates defining discharge cells; display electrodes extending in a second direction crossing the first direction and corresponding to the discharge cells, wherein the display electrodes include bus electrodes colored a third chromatic color; a dielectric layer on the front substrate, the dielectric layer covering the display electrodes and colored a first chromatic color that is in a subtractive color mixture relationship with the third chromatic color; and a filter disposed on an outer surface of the front substrate, the filter including: a plurality of light guides; and a plurality of non-glare members that are adjacent to the light guides and colored a second chromatic color.

摘要: A plasma display panel having higher light-emitting luminance and efficiency of a discharge cell includes: plurality of first barriers successively formed on a substrate at predetermined intervals; a plurality of first sustain electrodes formed at a width more than 40% of a pixel pitch, which is an overall distance of four of the barriers, to be orthogonal to the first barriers; a plurality of second sustain electrodes spaced apart from the first sustain electrodes at a distance less than 20% of the pixel pitch and mated with the first sustain electrodes one by one; a dielectric layer formed at a thickness of 25 μm or more to cover the first and second sustain electrodes; and a plurality of pads formed on some of the dielectric layer corresponding to the first sustain electrodes and the second sustain electrodes in each discharge cell.

摘要: In a dielectric composition for use in formation of a dielectric layer in a plasma display panel, comprising glass powder, the glass powder is powder of glass which contains PbO of 50% or less and CuO as one of essential elements contained in the glass for preventing color change of the dielectric layer from being caused due to reaction with Ag electrodes in the plasma display panel. Ceramics powder can be mixed with the glass powder. The dielectric composition can also be provided in a form of paste, alternatively in a form of a green sheet.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a plasma display panel, whose glass substrate is not tinged and luminance is high, is provided, even when silver material is used. A layer including silver compounds, which include sulfur generated on a surface of an electrode by reacting on sulfur in air, is removed before a forming process of a dielectric layer. Then decomposition of the compound is restricted in a firing process of the dielectric layer. Even when the electrode having the silver material with high electrical conductivity is used, yellow coloration on the glass substrate is prevented. As a result, a high quality plasma display panel which does not decrease in luminance is provided.

摘要: A dielectric paste of the present invention contains a binder resin, a cross-linking agent, a thermal polymerization initiator, and an inorganic powder, wherein the content of the thermal polymerization initiator is 3 to 30 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the total of the binder resin and the cross-linking agent. A method of manufacturing a plasma display, of the present invention, includes a first step of forming electrode patterns using an electrode paste, a second step of forming a dielectric paste coating film using a dielectric paste, a third step of forming barrier rib patterns using a barrier rib paste, a subsequent step of simultaneously firing at least the electrode patterns, the dielectric paste coating film, and the barrier rib patterns, and a step of performing curing after the second step. The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a plasma display, in which the electrode patterns, the dielectric paste coating film, and the barrier rib patterns can be simultaneously fired without any defects such as disconnections or cracks.

摘要: A full color fiber plasma display device includes two glass plates sandwiched around a top fiber array and a bottom fiber array. The top and bottom fiber arrays are substantially orthogonal and define a structure of the display, with the top fiber array disposed on a side facing towards a viewer. The top fiber array includes identical top fibers, each top fiber including two sustain electrodes located near a surface of the top fiber on a side facing away from the viewer. A thin dielectric layer separates the sustain electrodes from the plasma channel formed by a bottom fiber array. The bottom fiber array includes three alternating bottom fibers, each bottom fiber including a pair of barrier ribs that define the plasma channel, an address electrode located near a surface of the plasma channel, and a phosphor layer coating on the surface of the plasma channel, wherein a luminescent color of the phosphor coating in each of the three alternating bottom fibers represents a subpixel color of the plasma display. Each subpixel is formed by a crossing of one top fiber and one corresponding bottom fiber. The plasma display is hermetically sealed with a glass frit. The sustain and address electrodes are brought out through the glass frit for direct connection to a drive control system.

摘要: The present invention has as its objective to provide a display panel with silver electrodes without yellowing, and a method of producing such a display panel. After patterning and applying silver paste to form display electrodes on a substrate, glass paste is applied to form the dielectric layer, covering the electrodes, and both layers are simultaneously baked. Glass frit contained in the silver paste is chosen to have a lower softening point than die glass contained in the glass paste, and the baking process is divided into a first step, in which the baking temperature is equal to or higher than the softening point of the glass frit but lower than the softening point of the glass, and a second step, in which the baking temperature is higher than the softening point of the glass. This process allows a display panel to be produced with fewer bakings and reduced yellowing.
