Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for access authentication of a mobile station in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving a session certificate for the access authentication from a core network, transmitting the session certificate to a new access network during a handover to the new access network, and receiving an authentication result based on the session certificate from the new access network.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for synchronization for a device-to-device communication are disclosed. The method includes: instantly adjusting a synchronization phase value according to a time point when a synchronization signal is received, as soon as a device receives the synchronization signal from an adjacent device in an unconnected state; accumulatively storing at least one phase adjustment value according to a time point when at least one synchronization signal is received, whenever the device receives the at least one synchronization signal from at least one adjacent device in a connected state; and adjusting the synchronization phase value according to the stored at least one phase adjustment value when the device transitions from the connected state to the unconnected state.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving data in a mobile communication system using multiple antennas are provided. A receiver estimates a fading channel of received data, selects a weight set relative to a maximum data transmission rate from at least one weight set with elements of a plurality of orthogonal weight vectors, and transmits feedback information including the selected weight set and channel-by-channel state information to a transmitter. The transmitter demultiplexes data to be transmitted on a basis of the feedback information into at least one sub-data stream, multiplies each sub-data stream by an associated weight, and transmits the data.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a device-to-device (D2D) communication for direct communication between nodes in a wireless communication system, wherein an operation method of a terminal includes the steps of: generating sequences, which belong to an orthogonal sequence set, according to a sequence pattern corresponding to a priority of a link; and transmitting the sequences, as signals for measurement of a reception electric power of a counterpart terminal, through sub-blocks within a channel, wherein one sequence is transmitted through each of the sub-blocks.
Abstract:
A subscriber station performs a method for managing a security key. The method includes generating, for each of the base stations, an input value for generation of the security key for data transmission and reception with the each base station; transmitting, to the each base station, the input value for a corresponding base station; and generating the security key of the corresponding base station by using the input value of the each base station. A base station provides cooperative communication to the subscriber station.
Abstract:
A method for routing data by a Corresponding Mobility Agent (CMA) in a mobile communication system is provided. The method includes managing mobility for a Mobile Station (MS) with a Mobile Access Gateway (MAG), and routing a data packet between a Corresponding Node (CN) and the MS based on a location of the MS, wherein the CMA is mapped to an application server which provides an application service.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal in a mobile communication system supporting device to device (D2D) communication, and a method for operating the mobile terminal are provided. The terminal includes a first radio frequency (RF) chain configured to transmit a mobile communication signal and a second RF chain configured to receive a mobile communication signal, for mobile communication with a base station, a switching unit including a plurality of switches configured to establish transmission and reception paths in the first and second RF chains, and a controller configured to control switching of the switching unit to establish transmission and reception paths of a D2D communication signal for D2D communication by combining a part of the first RF chain with a part of the second RF chain. The combination of the parts of the first and second RF chains is different according to a D2D communication frequency band.
Abstract:
In order to generate multiple-access signals, each transmitter transmits information by using all or a part of channel resources. The signal of each transmitter is mapped to an OFDM time-frequency resource space as a trellis modulation path. A mobile communication system maps trellis modulation paths of a plurality of transmitters to the same resource space. In order to effectively detect and distinguish signals of a plurality of transmitters transmitted through the same channel resource space, a receiver uses a message passing method between symbols and a path connection method. The receiver uses a state space expansion method, a backward pre-decoding method, and a successive interference cancellation method to more efficiently reconstruct a discovery signal.
