    Abstract: A display device includes a base layer including an active area and a peripheral area outside the active area, a circuit element layer including a pixel in the active area of the base layer, a light emitting element layer including light emitting elements on the circuit element layer, a thin film encapsulation layer covering the light emitting element layer and including an organic layer, and an input detection layer on the thin film encapsulation layer and including a detection electrode and a detection wire connected to the detection electrode. The circuit element layer includes a connection wire overlapping the detection wire in the peripheral area, and a contact part to connect the detection wire and the connection wire in the peripheral area. The contact part is spaced apart from the organic layer of the thin film encapsulation layer on a plane.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor array panel includes: a gate line disposed on a substrate and including a first connection member of a gate driver region and a gate electrode of a display area, a gate insulating layer disposed on the substrate and having a first contact hole exposing the first connection member, a semiconductor layer disposed on a region of the gate insulating layer, a data line disposed on the gate insulating layer and the semiconductor layer and including a drain electrode, a source electrode, and a second connection member connected to the first connection member through the first contact hole, a passivation layer disposed on the data line, the source electrode, the drain electrode, and the second connection member, and a pixel electrode disposed on the passivation layer and electrically connected to the drain electrode. A horizontal width of the first contact hole ranges from 1 to 2 μm.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate having a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. Display elements are arranged in the display area. A spacer is disposed between the display elements and includes a lateral side having a first slope. A thin film encapsulation layer covers the display area and includes a buffer encapsulation layer, an inorganic, encapsulation layer, an organic encapsulation layer, and a composite encapsulation layer sequentially stacked on one another. The composite encapsulation layer includes a plurality of sub-layers stacked on each other. Each of the sub-layers has a thickness that is less than a thickness of the inorganic encapsulation layer. An upper surface of the buffer encapsulation layer has a second slope that is smaller than the first slope. The second slope overlaps the first slope in a direction of a thickness of the substrate.
