Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for enabling a neighboring access point (AP) to reuse communication resources that are used by an existing spatial reuse group (SRG). In one aspect, an SR element including SR information can be generated. The SR information may indicate that a first group of STAs associated with a second AP may reuse resources of a wireless medium over which packets are transmitted by a second group of STAs associated with the first AP and may indicate a permitted OBSS threshold value for reuse of the resources over the first AP. In some implementations, a wireless apparatus may transmit the SR element that includes the SR information.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus relating to distribution networks that utilize point-to-point communication between devices. The method comprises generating a frame with information indicating in which time division duplex (TDD) time slots, in a service period (SP) within a data transfer interval (DTI) of the frame, another apparatus is allowed to communicate. The method further comprises outputting the frame for transmission
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing changes to Basic Service Set (BSS) parameters of an access point (AP) in a synchronized manner across multiple physical layer (PHY) formats. In some implementations, an AP may enable STAs that use different PHY formats to implement the changes at substantially the same time. For example, the change in BSS may be aligned with a target beacon transmission time (TBTT) of a first PHY format, and the AP may broadcast information, in a second PHY format, pointing to the TBTT of the first PHY format. In some other implementations, the AP may enable the STAs to implement the changes at different times. For example, STAs using a first PHY format may implement the change at a TBTT of the first PHY format, whereas STAs using a second PHY format may implement the change at a TBTT of the second PHY format.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus, e.g., an AP, may transmit, to a set of stations, a trigger frame comprising a request for feedback from each station of the set of stations and an indication of a plurality of resources for each station to provide the feedback. The AP may receive, based on the transmitted trigger frame, a feedback in one or more LTFs included in a response from at least one station of the set of stations. In an aspect, the feedback maybe a multibit feedback. The feedback from the at least one station may include at least one of a buffer status report, operating mode information, HE Link Adaptation information, uplink power headroom information, bandwidth query report information, or channel state information.
Abstract:
A device for communication includes a processor and a transmitter. The processor is configured to determine whether to generate a trigger message as a unicast message or a broadcast message. The transmitter is configured to transmit, based on the determination, the trigger message to a second device or to a plurality of devices.
Abstract:
Example methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication are provided. In one example, an apparatus may be configured to determine a first interval between a first page transmission time and a second page transmission time. A third page transmission time may exist between the first page transmission time and the second page transmission time. The apparatus may be configured to enter a first state during which the first device is monitoring for a page transmission from a second device based on the first interval for a first state time period. The apparatus may be configured to enter, from the first state in response to a trigger event, a second state during which the first device is disabled from monitoring for a page transmission from the second device.
Abstract:
A station configured to operate in a wireless network includes low-power protocol circuitry configured to operate according to a low-power protocol coupled to primary protocol circuitry configured to operate according to a first protocol. The low-power protocol circuitry includes a wake-up receiver configured to transition into a receive mode according to a medium access schedule. The wake-up receiver is also configured to receive synchronization signals from a wake-up transmitter of an access point in the wireless network. Each synchronization signal is received according to a slot-skipping transmit schedule of the wake-up transmitter. The low-power protocol circuitry also includes a low-power processor configured to synchronize a clock of the wake-up receiver to a clock of the wake-up transmitter based on at least one of the synchronization signals.
Abstract:
A wireless device for wireless communication is configured to determine a schedule in association with one or more wake times. In addition, the wireless device is configured to determine a lifetime in association with the determined schedule. The lifetime indicates at least one of when the determined schedule associated with the one or more wake times will expire, a validity time associated with the determined schedule, or a boundary associated with the schedule. Further, the wireless device is configured to transmit to one or more wireless devices information indicating the determined schedule associated with the one or more wake times and information indicating the determined lifetime associated with the determined schedule.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may be configured to transmit a request message to a plurality of access points. The request message may include an address reserved for at least one of an access point feature, an access point service, or an access point vendor. The apparatus may be configured to receive a response message from at least one access point of the plurality of access points. The response message may indicate that the at least one access point has the access point feature, is associated with the access point service, or is associated with the access point vendor.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured to determine a multicast schedule for communicating data associated with a service over an NDL and to transmit the multicast schedule to at least one other wireless device.
