Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, techniques for improving semi-persistent scheduling performance, including in the context of cellular vehicle-to everything (CV2X) communications, are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment can include determining a first periodicity for transmitting safety messages, determining a second periodicity for transmitting the safety messages, wherein the second periodicity is different than the first periodicity, determining, based on a probabilistic determination process, whether to continue with the first periodicity or switch to the second periodicity, generating, based on the determination to continue with the first periodicity or switch to the second periodicity, the safety messages at the first periodicity or the second periodicity, and transmitting the safety messages at a same periodicity at which the safety messages were generated. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a wake up time period corresponding to a wake up cycle, transmit a message that includes an identifier of the UE within a first resource pool during a first portion of the wake up time period based on the wake up cycle, and monitor for a paging signal from a vehicle UE during a paging occasion of the wake up time period based on transmitting the message. A vehicle UE may identify a wake up configuration for a wake up time period, receive, within a first portion of the wake up time period, a message within a resource pool that includes the identifier of the UE. The vehicle UE may transmit a paging signal within a paging occasion of the wake up time period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to include procedures to selectively release a portion of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) memory based on the priority of each component carrier of the first connection when performing a radio tune-away to a second connection. For example, the UE may determine the amount of memory space associated with the HARQ processes for the second connection and selectively release a portion of HARQ memory based on the priority of each component carrier of the first connection when the determined amount of memory space is greater than the empty space of the HARQ memory.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and media are provided for recovery of information from redundancy version packets in systematic encoding environments when a redundancy version packet containing primarily systematic information may be corrupted. A plurality of redundancy version packets may be received at a user equipment device from a transmission device. Each redundancy version packet of the plurality of redundancy version packets may be based on a same group of information bits. A first redundancy version packet of the plurality of redundancy version packets may contain more bits of the same group of information bits than do the other redundancy version packets of the plurality of redundancy version packets. The same group of information bits may be recovered based on one or more second redundancy version packets of the plurality of redundancy version packets but not based on the first redundancy version packet.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for identifying and mitigating in-device coexistence interference for multicarrier systems implementing soft combining decoding techniques. In some aspects, the described techniques include identifying time-frequency resources of a received signal subject to coexistence interference at a transceiver of a wireless device. The time-frequency resources may include, for example, symbols, slots, code-blocks, sub-frames, subcarriers, etc. Resource-specific mitigation may then be applied to the identified resources, for example, including skipping or nulling the interfered resources in the time domain, frequency domain, or both. In some aspects, the resource-specific mitigation may be performed at the soft-combining stage of the decoding process, such as by skipping or nulling one or more log likelihood ratio (LLR) instances that correspond to the interfered resource(s).
