    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a semi-persistent scheduling configuration that identifies a plurality of resource occasions each comprising a plurality of resources of a sidelink channel allocated to the first UE for sidelink communication. The UE may identify a rescheduling configuration for scheduling transmission of a first message that has a possible conflict with transmission of a second message during a first resource of the plurality of resources of a first resource occasion of the plurality of resource occasions, the first message having a different priority than the second message. The UE may transmit the second message during the first resource occasion and may transmit the first message via the sidelink channel in accordance with the rescheduling configuration.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication for a user equipment (UE) includes entering a dormancy period for a secondary cell group (SCG) of a base station (BS) during which no downlink (DL) data or control transmissions are received from the SCG; performing a channel state information (CSI) measurement on the SCG during the dormancy period to generate a measurement report; determining an uplink (UL) beam of a primary secondary cell (PSCELL) of the SCG; transmitting the measurement report to the BS on the UL beam of the SCG; and determining, during the dormancy period and after transmitting the measurement report, one or more downlink (DL) beams for communicating on the SCG based on one or more rules and based on the measurement report, wherein the one or more rules result in the BS determining the same one or more DL beams based on the measurement report.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration message indicating a PUR configuration for small data transmissions. The method also includes determining, by the UE, a PUR configuration release trigger for the PUR configuration. The method further includes receiving, by the UE, a PUR configuration release message configured to release the PUR configuration. In another aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a network entity, a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration message indicating a PUR configuration for small data transmissions. The method also includes determining, by the network entity, a PUR configuration release trigger for the PUR configuration. The method further includes transmitting, by the network entity, a PUR configuration release message configured to release the PUR configuration. Other aspects are described and claimed.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for sidelink feedback reporting over an unlicensed spectrum in a wireless communication system. In aspects, a transmitting UE monitors for a feedback response for a sidelink transmission from one or more receiving UEs at each feedback occasion of a sidelink feedback window. A receiving UE attempts to transmit the feedback response by performing a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure at each feedback occasion of the sidelink feedback window. In aspects, the sidelink feedback window may be defined as a plurality of sidelink feedback occasions, or may be defined as a duration of an LBT timer covering a plurality of sidelink feedback occasions. The receiving UE stops attempting to transmit the feedback response once the receiving UE successfully performs an LBT procedure at a feedback occasion, and the transmitting UE stops monitoring for a feedback response a feedback response is successfully received.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may support beam measurements triggered by a wake-up signal (WUS) and that triggers an active duration of a receiving user equipment (UE). The WUS may trigger the receiving UE to perform a beam sweeping procedure during a beam measurement occasion that immediately preceding the active duration, or the UE may perform the beam sweeping procedure in the WUS resource itself. A UE may perform beam measurement procedures during active durations of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, or outside of active durations of the DRX cycle. A receiving UE may be configured with a timing for performing a beam measurement procedure based on one or more offset values. The timing offset values may indicate a timing during active durations or prior to active durations.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for handling acknowledgement and retransmission timers during sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) communication. An example method by a transmitter user equipment (UE) generally includes transmitting a first repetition of a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) to a receiver UE prior to entering an inactive state, while the transmitter UE is operating in a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) mode; returning to an active state to monitor for acknowledgment feedback from the receiver UE, wherein the return is based on a first timer relative to an end of the first repetition of the PSSCH; remaining in the active state for a duration defined by a second timer; and taking one or more actions depending on whether the transmitter UE receives acknowledgment feedback during the duration indicating failed reception of the first repetition of the PSSCH by the receiver UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a first control resource pool associated with sidelink control signaling during a first sensing window and monitor a portion of a second resource pool associated with sidelink data signaling during a second sensing window. The UE may perform joint resource selection on the first resource pool and the second resource pool based on the monitoring during the first and second sensing windows. The UE may transmit a sidelink control information message including resource indication fields to reserve the selected sidelink control channel resources and selected sidelink shared channel resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink data message on one or more of the reserved sidelink shared channel resources.
