Abstract:
A method, apparatus, and system are provided for authentication of collaborative mobile devices. A first mobile device receives a challenge message, derives a first mobile device authentication result based on the challenge message, and conveys, to a second mobile device of a user of the first mobile device, a first short-range wireless signal comprising the challenge message. The second mobile device receives the challenge message from the first mobile device, derives a second mobile device authentication result based on the challenge message, and conveys, to the first mobile device, a first short-range wireless signal comprising the second mobile device authentication result. The first mobile device receives the second mobile device authentication result and authenticates one or more of the first mobile device, the second mobile device, and the user by conveying, to an authenticator device, the first mobile device authentication result and the second mobile device authentication result.
Abstract:
A communication system and method provide fight detection capability. Bodily parameters associated with fighting, such as limb movements, are pre-stored and individualized for a particular user. The characterization of a fight using limb movements allows for a system that can recognize a fight even when a user is unable to call for assistance. Other bodily parameters are further monitored and weighted to distinguish a fight from other activities. The automatic notification to a dispatch center or control center and notification to peer radios expedites the ability to bring aid to the user.

A mobile device collaboration method includes provisioning a first mobile device with unique user identification related to a role and skill set of an associated user of the first mobile device, detecting a second mobile device responsive to a condition at the first mobile device, communicating the unique user identification to the second mobile device, authenticating the first mobile device through the second mobile device communicating the unique user identification to an external database, and providing access for the first mobile device through the second mobile device if the authenticating is successful. A mobile device collaboration system and a mobile device are also described.

A communication system (100) provides collaboration between narrowband communication devices (102) and broadband communication devices (104) operating over different networks. The communication devices (102, 104) are linked to provide peer-to-peer communication that supports the dissemination of public safety information to a public safety personnel user utilizing the devices. Applications within the devices (102, 104) automatically control features amongst the plurality of devices for redundancy of critical information, removal of non-critical information and power management. Context information can also be examined and shared between amongst the devices.

A process for interfacing with an electronic communications device including a single input interface (SII) for accessing an electronic digital assistant and voice control includes detecting a first activation of the SII, and responsively playing back a first audio feedback indicative of activation of a voice input function. Then monitoring for one of two or more pre-configured voice control keywords, a first associated with a local electronic communications device function and a second associated with initiating a particular infrastructure-based electronic digital assistant function. When the first, playing back a second audio feedback indicative of acknowledgement of a local device function, and performing the local device function; when the second, playing back, a third audio feedback indicative of acknowledgement of a infrastructure-based electronic digital assistant function, and performing the infrastructure-based electronic digital assistant function.

A system and method for displaying an image of an object of interest located at an incident scene. The method includes receiving, from the image capture device, a first video stream of the incident scene, and displaying the video stream. The method includes receiving an input indicating a pixel location in the video stream, and detecting the object of interest in the video stream based on the pixel location. The method includes determining an object class, an object identifier, and metadata for the object of interest. The metadata includes the object class, an object location, an incident identifier corresponding to the incident scene, and a time stamp. The method includes receiving an annotation input for the object of interest, and associating the annotation input and the metadata with the object identifier. The method includes storing, in a memory, the object of interest, the annotation input, and the metadata.

A device, system and method for generating an alert and an automatic search for a candidate subject is provided. The device monitors one or more data sources to identify a candidate subject. The device determines, from rules for rating candidate subjects stored in a memory, a rating of the candidate subject. When the rating meets a first threshold: the device transmits, to one or more communication devices, an alert identifying the candidate subject. When the rating meets a second threshold, lower than the first threshold: the devices provides, a classifier defining the candidate subject to an object recognition engine to cause the object recognition engine to automatically search for the candidate subject, using the classifier, in multimedia data received at one or more edge devices. The multimedia data may include images.

The method further includes generating, by the electronic computing device, a voice message based on the environmental condition such that the voice message includes an encoded meaning. The method further includes determining, by the electronic computing device, a voice profile of the voice message based on the environmental condition. The voice profile indicates the encoded meaning. The method further includes outputting the voice message in accordance with the voice profile with a speaker of a communication device.
