Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a random access method, a terminal, and a base station. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal (UE), configuration information of random access resources from a base station, where the configuration information of the random access resource includes: configuration information of a first random access resource received from the base station using a system broadcast and configuration information of a second random access resource received from the base station by using downlink control information (DCI); selecting, by the UE, a random access resource from the first random access resource and the second random access resource according to a random access rule and the configuration information of the random access resources; and initiating, by the UE, random access according to the selected random access resource.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a connection setup method, apparatus, and system. The method in the present invention includes: sending information about to-be-provided connection request resources to a user equipment UE set; receiving a connection request message that is sent on a selected connection request resource by one UE in the user equipment set; acquiring a first information segment of a radio resource control connection request of the UE according to the selected connection request resource and the mapping relationship; receiving a radio resource control connection request message that is sent, by the UE, on a radio resource that corresponds to the resource scheduling information; and determining radio resource control connection request information of the UE according to the first information segment of the radio resource control connection request and a second information segment of the radio resource control connection request.

In the embodiments of the present invention, after it is determined that a paging message is used to page a narrowband terminal, because narrowband terminal information is added in the paging message, a base station is allowed to transmit the paging message according to a radio capability of the narrowband terminal.

The present invention discloses a method for transmitting control information. Downlink control information is categorized into common control information and dedicated control information. A physical broadcast channel is extended by dividing a common control channel domain into a plurality of narrowband sub-control channel domains by adding a position identifier. Before a connection is established, the common control information is sent, according to the position identifier, in each sub-control channel domain of the common control channel domain. After the connection is established, a sub-control channel domain with a channel state that complies with a set standard is selected, according to a channel state of each sub-control channel domain, for sending the dedicated control information.

The present disclosure provides a system for transmitting data. The system comprises: a base station and a first user equipment, the first user equipment receives downlink data sent from a base station through downlink resources of a special subframe; acquires a position of uplink resources corresponding to the first user equipment in guard period resources of the special subframe, wherein the position of the uplink resources corresponding to the first user equipment in the guard period resources of the special subframe is staggered from a position of downlink resources corresponding to a second user equipment in the special subframe, and a round-trip time of the second user equipment is greater than a round-trip time of the first user equipment; and sends uplink data to the base station through the uplink resources corresponding to the first user equipment in the guard period resources of the special subframe.

A method includes: determining, according to a measurement report of agent UE and a measurement report of UE in a UE group that are sent by the agent UE, whether the agent UE and the UE in the UE group need to be handed over; when the agent UE and at least one piece of UE in the UE group need to be handed over, sending a handover request message to a T-eNB; receiving a handover configuration message sent by the T-eNB and sending the handover configuration message to the agent UE; and receiving a context release message sent by the T-eNB, and releasing context resources of the agent UE and the to-be-handed-over UE.

The present invention discloses a multiple users cooperative communication (MUCC) method and system. The main idea of the present invention is as follows: through multiple users cooperative communication between APs, data to be sent to a UE by an eNB may be sent to a support AP at first, and then the support AP sends the data to the UE; and when the support AP is in a poor network environment, the eNB may send the data to other APs near the support AP, and finally forward the data to the support AP through one or more times of forwarding between other APs. The present invention has a multiuser diversity gain without increasing the complexity and power consumption of the UE; furthermore, a laying cost of wired backhaul can be reduced and reliability and transmission efficiency of MUCC can be improved.

The method provided in an embodiment of the present invention includes: establishing, by a macro base station, a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a user equipment (UE); receiving, by a small cell, a configuration message sent, through a wired or wireless interface, by the macro base station; and establishing, by the small cell, a user plane connection between the small cell and the UE based on the RRC connection and the configuration message, and establishing a data bearer with the UE on the user plane connection.
