摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing and using information about inter-layer prediction when providing a video signal to a plurality of layers by encoding the video signal. The method for encoding an image signal to bit streams of an enhanced layer and a base layer, includes the steps of coding an image block in a picture of the enhanced layer into residual data based on image data of a block of the base layer corresponding to the vide block, and providing indication information through the bit stream of the enhanced layer, the indication information representing whether the coding is achieved in inter-layer prediction constraint or inter-layer prediction unconstraint.

摘要： The method includes receiving a multi-view video stream including a random access picture, which includes a random access slice. The random access slice references only a slice corresponding to a same time and a different view of the random access picture. Type information indicating whether the random access slice is predicted from one or two reference pictures is obtained, and a reference picture list is initialized using view number information and view identification information included in obtained initialization information according to the type information. The initialization information is obtained based on a value indicating decoding order between the plurality of views. The initialized reference picture list is modified based on modification information representing how to assign an inter-view reference index in the initialized reference picture list. A prediction value of a macroblock in the random access picture is determined based on the modified reference picture list, and the macroblock is decoded using the prediction value.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method of encoding video signals. The method includes creating a bit stream of a first layer by encoding the video signals, and creating a bit stream of a second layer by encoding the video signals based on the first layer. When residual data, corresponding to an image difference, within the first layer, is up-sampled and used for the encoding of the second layer, the residual data is up-sampled for each block that is predicted based on motion compensation.
