    摘要: An antiskid apparatus for an automotive vehicle having a master cylinder connected to wheel cylinders via respective brake lines, and a pressure regulating valve in a power hydraulic pressure line connecting an accumulator with a directional control valve, which is installed in a power hydraulic pressure line connecting the accumulator with a hydraulic pressure control piston. When the brake is applied, the pressure regulating valve is operable, in dependence upon master cylinder hydraulic pressure delivered by each wheel cylinder, to reduce power hydraulic pressure supplied by the accumulator to a hydraulic pressure higher, by a predetermined amount, than the master cylinder hydraulic pressure, and to deliver this reduced hydraulic pressure to each directional control valve. When the brake is not applied, the pressure regulating valve cuts off communication between the accumulator and each directional control valve and brings the hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic pressure line leading to a fluid chamber of the control piston to a value not higher than a set value through the directional control valve. Thus, the fluid chamber is supplied with hydraulic pressure reduced to a predetermined value to suppress a pressure change that occurs in the fluid chamber when the apparatus is operated, thereby reducing shock and noise and making it easier to control the operation of the apparatus.

    摘要: A three-port solenoid-operated valve has a fluid passage defined in a solenoid, a first port at an inlet end of the fluid passage, and second and third ports at an outlet end of the fluid passage. A cylindrical plunger is movably disposed in the fluid passage, and a slider is slidably supported in the plunger. A first-port valve body is normally urged by a first spring to be held against an end surface of the slider for opening the first port when the solenoid is de-energized. A third-port valve body is normally urged by a second spring for closing the third port when the solenoid is de-energized and is energized by a lower current. A pusher is fixedly mounted in the plunger for pushing the third-port valve body in a direction to open the third port in response to movement of the plunger when the solenoid is energized by a higher current. A third spring acts between the pusher and the opposite end surface of the slider for normally urging the pusher and the slider apart from each other. The second spring has a smallest spring force, the third spring has a largest spring force, and the first spring has an intermediate spring force between the spring forces of the second and third springs.

    摘要: A brake force control apparatus having a pump for pumping up brake fluid from a fluid pressure passage connecting a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder is provided which can accurately detect an amount of brake operation intended by a driver during execution of a brake assist control. The brake assist control is achieved by supplying the brake fluid delivered by the pump to the wheel cylinder when an emergency brake operation is performed by a driver. The brake force control apparatus has a control signal generator and a fluid pressure controller. The control signal generator generates a control signal by compensating a decrease generated in the output signal when the pump pumps up the brake fluid from the fluid pressure passage. The fluid pressure controller performs the brake assist control by using the control signal.

    摘要: An anti-skid apparatus for installation in a vehicle braking system includes an electrically operated actuator arranged to control hydraulic brake pressure applied to each wheel brake cylinder of road wheels of the vehicle and an electronic control device for applying an electric control signal to the actuator in response to electric signals indicative of each rotational speed of the road wheels so that the actuator is operated to decrease or increase the brake pressure when the rotational speed of the road wheels in braking operation becomes lower than a reference speed the value of which is defined on a basis of a travel, speed of the vehicle. The electronic control device is designed to detect a step on a travel road of the vehicle in braking operation and to compare the rotational speed of the road wheels with a subtracted value of the reference speed when the step on the travel road has been detected within a predetermined time thereby to maintain the actuator in its deactivated condition when the rotational speed of the road wheels is larger than the subtracted value of the reference speed.

A brake fluid pressure controlling device is provided for increasing, decreasing or maintaining the brake fluid pressure in the wheel cylinders, controlling the switching valve on the basis of wheel velocity, estimated vehicle speed, and wheel rotating acceleration. A second arithmetic operation device marks the minimum and maximum values in the wheel velocity after a brake fluid pressure reduction based on the wheel velocity detected by the wheel velocity detecting device calculates the recovery acceleration in the wheel velocity in the shift from the minimum value to the maximum value and compares the recovery acceleration with the set value. A vehicle acceleration correcting device corrects the vehicle body acceleration detected by the acceleration detecting device so as to set the vehicle body acceleration at a smaller value in case the recovery acceleration is less than the set value.

    摘要: An antiskid control system is disclosed in which a single solenoid-operated switching valve connects a single wheel brake selectively to a high pressure or low pressure from a source of brake pressure. After the decompression of a wheel brake pressure, a repetitive intensifying operation is executed with a period of 40 msec in which an intensifying and a decompressing operation take place alternately. During the repetitive intensifying operation, the duty cycle for the intensifying operation is increased at a given rate. A flash intensification is executed immediately before the repetitive intensification. An initial value of the duty cycle for the repetitive intensification which occurs after the decompression of a second and a subsequent pass is chosen in proportion to the time duration of the previous repetitive intensifying operation and in inverse proportion to the immediately preceding decompressing interval.

    摘要: An actuator for a wheel anti-lock system, which comprises a first conduit connected to a brake master cylinder and a second conduit connected to a brake wheel cylinder. To the second conduit, there is connected a reservoir for reserving a predetermined amount of working liquid. Between the first conduit and the second conduit, there is interposed a feed change-over valve for opening or closing the communication between them. Between the second conduit and the reservoir, there is interposed a release change-over valve for opening or closing the communication between them. In the first conduit, there is disposed a normally open cut valve for closing the first conduit when in a skid control. To the first conduit, there is connected a pressure transducer in parallel with the cut valve. The pressure transducer includes: a body having a smaller bore connected to the brake master cylinder and a larger bore connected to the brake wheel cylinder; a stepped piston fitted in the two bores; and a spring for biasing the stepped piston toward the smaller portion thereof. When in the skid control, the pressure transducer feeds the second conduit with a pressure liquid, a predetermined amount larger than the pressure liquid which is fed from the 2 master cylinder, to the pressure transducer.

A proportional valve is disposed between the master cylinder and the second directional control valve for producing a fluid pressure difference between the first and second wheel cylinders. The brake fluid stored in the reservoir is pumped by a fluid pump back to a pipe portion between the master cylinder and the proportional valve.

    摘要: A brake fluid pressure control valve assembly includes a body having a single cylinder bore communicating inlet and outlet ports connected to a brake master cylinder and wheel brake cylinder, respectively. The cylinder bore accommodates the components of two separate valves, namely first, second and third seat members and first and second valve elements brought into and out of contact with seat surfaces of these seat members, as well as a spring interposed between the two valve elements, a pressure reducing piston and a by-pass piston. First and second passageways arranged in parallel each interconnect the inlet and outlet ports through two serially arranged valve cavities in the cylinder bore and are opened and closed in a prescribed manner by the two valves in cooperation with the spring and pistons. The third seat member has seal rings fitted in first and second annular grooves formed in its outer periphery for providing a seal between the outer periphery of the third seat member and wall surfaces of axially extending bores in the first and second seat members. The outer diameter of the third seat member is smaller than the inner diameter of the first and second seat members so that the inner peripheral portions of the these seat members will not be contacted by the third seat member. The first and second seat members are joined to each other by a pin press fitted into opposing holes formed in opposing end faces of these seat members.
