Abstract:
A controller determines whether a transmission data amount of the image data exceeds a limit capacity of a mail server connected the electronic mail communication apparatus before an actual transmission of the image data. Further, when the transmission data amount of the image data exceeds the limit capacity of the mail server, automatic processing is performed so that an electronic mail including image data can be transmitted. Accordingly, electronic mail communication apparatus of the present invention is capable of enabling users to save a lot of time for the image transmission.
Abstract:
A destination to which a line connection is not established is memorized in the process of simultaneous multicasting to a plurality of destinations. When another multicast communication starts, if the memorized destination is included in destinations, a call is primarily performed to a destination in the next order by skipping the memorized destination.
Abstract:
In the case where received e-mail data can not be printed, e-mail control section 33 transfers the received e-mail data to another information terminal device. And facsimile control section 34 instructs facsimile section 27 to print an error message including sender information and an attached file format. And indication control section 35 starts up indication section 29.
Abstract:
A hard disk stores a CAD file having 3-D data that relates to an assembly product comprised of a plurality of parts. Based on this 3-D data of an assembly product, a parts data retriever retrieves 3-D data for each part. According to this 3-D data for each part, a bitmap output unit generates 2-D bitmap image data illustrating the part image, which is viewed from a predetermined direction. Moreover, using the 2-D data of the part, a management data generator generates a management table describing steps to output an assembly scene on a screen. A file having this management table and a file having 2-D data are then delivered to a PC for assembly scene output, in order to output the assembly scene.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus and a communication device that are selectively connectable to each other. A transmitter, associated with one of the communication apparatus and the communication device, transmits a first predetermined signal, such as, for example, an MS signal, to designate a specific mode to the other one of the communication apparatus and the communication device. The first predetermined signal includes an identification field that stores modulation independent information and a standard information field that stores modulation dependent information. A receiver receives a second predetermined signal, such as, for example, an ACK signal or a NACK signal, in response to the first predetermined signal from the other one of the communication apparatus and the communication device.
Abstract:
A control monitors communication status during a data communication and determines a re-initialization is necessary in the current communication status. If the re-initialization is necessary, a pre-selected sub-carrier topology is inverted to request the re-initialization to an ADSL modem apparatus, which is installed by a central system. Upon receiving a reply to the re-initialization request from the ADSL modem apparatus, the re-initialization is performed after an expiration of a predetermined time period.
Abstract:
In multi-carrier communication, error amounts, which are deviations between the coordinate points of eye patterns detected from actual reception signals of each sub-carrier, and the target coordinate points of eye patterns from the reception signals are calculated by an eye pattern display controller and displayed on an oscilloscope.
Abstract:
An internet facsimile apparatus and data communication apparatus that can directly exchange capability information of sender and receiver sides and maximize the capability of both sides is provided, by obtaining an IP address of a destination terminal based on the input e-mail address, and by directly transmitting the e-mail to the destination terminal using the IP address of the destination terminal without using mail servers. Also, using the IP address of the destination terminal, a connection is established with the destination terminal to execute a mail protocol that can exchange capability information. After obtaining the capability information of the destination terminal, data format of the sending data is converted to match the capability information of the destination terminal, and the sending data is transmitted by e-mail.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus includes a calling section that performs a communication by sequentially transmitting a calling signal to a destination, and transmitting a shift notification signal that indicates a shift to a short previous-procedure. A memory stores destination information and modem control information in association with each other. When the destination to which the communication is performed corresponds to the destination information stored in the memory, the calling section transmits the shift notification signal, and controls a modem based on the stored modem control information so as to shorten a previous-procedure.
Abstract:
A home gateway apparatus that can control the power in each current carrying unit, and lower the power consumption is provided; by dividing the apparatus into a first system that has a minimum function to connect with the Internet, and a second system that has necessary functions to execute applications on the Ethernetnull. Both the first and second systems are controlled individually, so that the power is turned on/off separately. Also, when the second system without the power is turned on, an Ethernetnull connection controller is provided as an interface to avoid the interface connectivity problem, and an IP address is automatically obtained after turning on the power.
