Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a system information block, a paging message, or both. The UE may determine a priority level associated with relaying the system information block, the paging message, or both on a sidelink channel. The UE may transmit, to a second UE on the sidelink channel, the system information block, the paging message, or both based on the priority level.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE via reflection by one or more passive devices, a first reference signal (RS) that is based at least in part on a shared first key that corresponds to a configuration of the one or more passive devices. The first UE may receive, from the second UE via reflection, a second RS that is based at least in part on the first key. The first UE may generate a second key based at least in part on a measurement of the second RS. The first UE may transmit a positioning reference signal that is based at least in part on the second key and that is associated with a measurement of a range between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may establish a local wireless connection with the second UE based on the link capability information associated with the subscription of the second UE to the cellular wireless network. The first UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity of the cellular wireless network via the second UE using first subscriber identity module (SIM) credentials of the first UE or second SIM credentials of the second UE based on establishing the local wireless connection with the second UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. One method for wireless communication at a first device includes receiving a multicast packet from a second device, decoding control header information in the received multicast packet, determining that a decoding procedure associated with a payload of the received multicast packet is unsuccessful and transmitting a negative acknowledgement (NACK) based at least in part on the determining. The method also includes retrieving a list of transmitter identifiers. In some cases, transmitting the NACK is based at least in part on the list of transmitter identifiers. The method further includes determining a transmitter identifier associated with the multicast packet and determining that the transmitter identifier is present in the list of transmitter identifiers.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to communicate with a first base station, where the first UE is configured to relay wireless communications between a second UE and the first base station via at least a sidelink communication link between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may receive, from the first base station, an indication for the first UE to perform a first handover procedure from the first base station to a second base station. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE via the sidelink communication link and based on receiving the indication to perform the first handover procedure, a sidelink transmission including a trigger for the second UE to perform a second handover procedure or a reselection procedure. The first UE may then communicate with the second base station based on performing the first handover procedure from the first base station to the second base station.
