Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) receives a channel state information (CSI) decoder and CSI encoder from a base station on a physical downlink control channel (PDSCH) or a media access control-control element (MAC-CE). The method also includes training the CSI decoder and CSI encoder based on observed channel and interference conditions to obtain updated decoder coefficients and updated encoder coefficients. The method further includes receiving an indication of resources for transmission of the updated encoder coefficients and updated decoder coefficients. The method includes transmitting the updated decoder coefficients and updated encoder coefficients to the base station in accordance with the indication of resources. Further, the method includes receiving an updated CSI decoder and updated CSI encoder from the base station for further training.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation may be configured differently on enhanced component carriers (eCCs) than on other component carriers, including a primary cell (PCell). In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may be configured with several different eCC DRX modes. An eCC DRX configuration may, for example, be coordinated with downlink (DL) transmission time interval (TTI) scheduling so each DRX ON duration may correspond to a DL burst duration of the corresponding eCC. The eCC DRX ON durations may also be scheduled according to hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process scheduling. In some examples, eCC DRX ON durations may be based on listen-before-talk (LBT) procedures. In some cases, eCC DRX ON durations may be configured to contain an uplink (UL) burst to enable channel state information (CSI) reporting. The eCC DRX may also be configured to minimize interruption of the PCell.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for wireless communication that may allow a user equipment (UE) to determine its relative position and distances to other UEs more accurately than standard vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications allow. In some implementations, a UE (or other wireless communication device) participating in a positioning operation may transmit and receive positioning signals on an unlicensed radio band, and may transmit and receive non-positioning signals on a V2X channel (or on another suitable channel) of a radio access network (RAN). The positioning signals may include positioning reference signals (PRSs) associated with observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) positioning operations, ranging signals associated with round-trip time (RTT) positioning operations, or other suitable signals from which the position of the UE can be determined.

Abstract: Techniques for spectrum sharing among operators are provided. A base station (BS) licensed to a first operator monitors, while operating on a first carrier frequency assigned to the first operator, a reservation period on a second carrier frequency assigned to a second operator that shares spectrum with the first operator. The BS determines, based on the monitoring, availability of the second carrier frequency for use by the BS during at least one subsequent data period. The BS determines whether to attempt to reserve access on the second carrier frequency for use during the at least one subsequent data period based on the determined availability.

Additionally, the disclosure describes a method, an apparatus and a computer-readable medium for use in providing time alignment in a consolidated multi-point (CoMP) transmission network by obtaining of a CoMP transmission network timing information from a plurality of user equipments (UEs) and storing the timing information for each of the plurality of UEs for communicating with the first node.
