Abstract: A method of indicating user equipment (UE) status, the method comprising: determining, at the UE based on at least one of sensor output information of the UE or one or more incoming wireless signals to the UE, an indoor/outdoor status of the UE; transmit, via at least one transmitter, an indoor/outdoor indication message to a network entity, wherein the indoor/outdoor indication message reports the indoor/outdoor status of the UE to the network entity, and the network entity is a base station, or a server, or both; receiving, via at least one receiver, a control information message from the network entity in response to the indoor/outdoor indication message; and changing operation of the UE based on the control information message.

Abstract: In a wireless communication system, a user equipment (UE) may report channel state information (CSI) using a learned dictionary defining a set of sparse vectors. The UE determines a learned dictionary for CSI reporting. For example, the UE receives a shared dictionary from a similar and nearby UE or the UE trains the learned dictionary based on logged CSI measurements. The UE indicates the learned dictionary to a serving base station. The UE measures CSI for a plurality of channels. The UE reports a sparse vector representing the CSI based on the learned dictionary to the serving base station.

Abstract: A protocol stack architecture for processing machine learning (ML) data includes a ML layer to manage ML data communication with a network device. The analog data communications stack has an upper media access control analog (MAC-A) layer coupled to the ML layer and configured to store data for each neural network, a lower MAC-A layer coupled to the upper MAC-A layer and configured to segment and reassemble analog ML data, and an analog physical layer coupled to the lower MAC-A layer and configured to communicate analog data with the network device. The architecture includes a digital data communications stack coupled to the ML layer and the lower MAC-A layer and configured to manage digital communications with the network device.
