    Abstract: A shaft assembly may include two or more Poka-Yoke bearing caps, each Poka-Yoke bearing cap having a pair of reference bores offset from a central axis of the bearing cap by differing offset distances, and each bearing cap defining a semi-circular recess that is positioned so as to align in use a central axis of the semi-cylindrical recess in the bearing cap with an axis of rotation of a shaft rotatably supported by the bearing cap. The differing offsets of the reference bores prevent the bearing cap from being assembled in a reversed orientation. To ensure that each bearing cap can only be fitted in one position, a centre spacing between the first and second reference bores of each bearing cap is different to the centre spacing used for other bearing caps used to support a single shaft.

    Abstract: An end fitting connector assembly includes an end fitting having a first end, a second end and a through opening that extends in a direction that is transverse to an end fitting axis extending through the first and second ends and in which the through opening is defined by a peripheral wall. An elastically deformable race fitted into the through opening of the end fitting includes an exterior surface that engages the peripheral wall and an interior surface configured to provide snap fitting engagement with a spherical ball mount. At least one feature retaining the race within the end fitting creates an increased disassembly force, which may prevent disassembly without employing a release tool or release feature. The interior and exterior surfaces of the race can include spherical surfaces for conforming to the spherical ball and the peripheral wall of the end fitting.

    Abstract: A charging amount of lubricating oil (11) into an internal space of a housing (7) is adjusted so that, within a range of a use temperature, an oil level of the lubricating oil (11) is positioned on a lower side with respect to an upper end portion of a chamfered portion (8f) formed in an upper-end inner peripheral edge portion of a bearing member (8). The bearing member (8) integrally includes: a small-diameter cylindrical portion (81); and a large-diameter cylindrical portion (82). Under a state in which an upper end surface (8c) of the small-diameter cylindrical portion (81) is exposed to an atmosphere, the large-diameter cylindrical portion (82) is sandwiched from both sides in the axial direction with an annular member (9) and a bottom portion (7b) of the housing (7) so that the bearing member (8) is fixed along an inner periphery of the housing (7).

    Abstract: A sanitary mixing tank steady bearing is replaceable without lifting a mixing tank shaft. The steady bearing is insertable into and removable from the bottom of a bearing support attached inside the base of the sanitary mixing tank. The steady bearing may thus be replaced by a service technician working through a man way/man hole on the top of the tank allowing service without lifting the mixing tank shaft. Gaps are provided between the bearing support and steady bearing allowing flushing material from around the steady bearing to easily maintain a sanitary environment.

    Abstract: A hydrostatic linear guideway includes a rail, a slider coupled to the rail, and two load blocks disposed between the rail and the slider. A load portion of each load block is spaced from the groove wall of an outer groove of the rail and has an oil chamber facing toward the groove wall of one respective outer groove of the rail, such that an oil film is formed between the rail and each load block. A bearing portion of each load block is abutted against the groove wall of an inner groove of the slider so that the two load blocks are moved synchronously with the slider. Thus, the hydrostatic linear guideway of the present invention has the oil chamber defined in each load block and does not require additional processing of the slider, achieving the purpose of reducing the difficulty of the manufacturing process.
