摘要: A vehicle charging system includes a main body fixed to a floor part of a vehicle stop space, a slide body slidable in a first direction relative to the main body, a connector unit including arms and a connector to be connected to the vehicle to charge, a first cover that covers the arms from a side of the main body while pivoting in conjunction with pivoting of the arms, a second cover supported by the slide body and disposed on a side opposite to the side of the main body, and third covers supported by the slide body and disposed on both sides of the connector unit in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. When the arms are erected, the second cover and the third covers extend upward in conjunction with the pivoting of the arms, thereby forming a frame that surrounds the arms.

摘要: A vehicle recharging system recharges a partially depleted battery of a moving electric vehicle. The system includes a dispatch server receiving a route from the electric vehicle as well as first and second segments along the route where the electric vehicle is to be recharged first and second times. First and second unmanned autonomous recharging vehicles (UARV's) receive from the dispatch server first and second rendezvous locations along the first and second segments of the route. The dispatch server determines an adjusted second rendezvous location for the second UARV in response to determining that the first UARV is delayed and determines if the second UARV still has sufficient range to recharge the electric vehicle when commencing at the adjusted second rendezvous location. The dispatch server transmits the adjusted second rendezvous location to the second UARV to intercept the electric vehicle at the adjusted second rendezvous location.

摘要: A vehicle-charging apparatus has a vehicle part fixed on a vehicle having a housing holding a respective set of fixed concentric circular contacts, a movable robot part having a housing holding a respective set of recessed concentric circular contacts complementary to the vehicle contacts, and an engagement guard movable relative to the housing and vehicle contacts and between a lower position in which the vehicle contacts are protected or and an upper position in which the contacts of the vehicle part are uncovered. A spring urges the engagement guard into the lowered position and the robot part is raised when aligned underneath the vehicle part for pressing the contacts of the robot part up against the engagement guard to uncover the vehicle contacts and engage the contacts of the robot part upwardly with the contacts of the vehicle part.

摘要: An automated connection and disconnection system for a battery assembly is disclosed. The system may be implemented by a first component of an electric vehicle and a second component of the battery assembly. The first component includes a linear actuator that is configured to push a set of electrical connectors associated with the electric vehicle outward and establish a connection with a corresponding set of electrical connectors associated with the battery assembly. The process of connecting or docking the battery assembly to the electric vehicle is thereby automated and the time needed to exchange batteries is reduced. The system further includes provisions for ensuring the two components remain aligned relative to one another during docking.

The battery swapping station comprises: a first battery swapping platform being arranged between a first charging compartment and a second charging compartment; a first shuttle travels between the first battery charging compartment and the first battery swapping platform, a second shuttle travels between the second battery charging compartment and the first battery swapping platform; a control unit being electrically connected to the first shuttle and to the second shuttle, used for the following operation: when operating a same vehicle on the first battery swapping platform, if the first shuttle is executing either operation of battery unmounting or battery mounting, the second shuttle executes the other operation. Through the battery swapping station and the control method therefor, the waiting time for vehicles when swapping batteries can be reduced, thus increasing the battery swapping efficiency of the battery swapping station.
