Abstract: Dual-optical module autofocus (AF) or AF plus optical image stabilization (OIS) cameras with reduced footprint and reduced mutual magnetic interference. Some AF+OIS cameras may include a single AF actuation assembly that moves two lens barrels in unison. Some AF cameras or AF+OIS cameras may have two AF actuation sub-assemblies and associated magnets for independent AF operation of each lens barrel, the magnets shared in a manner that cancels magnetic influences of one AF actuation sub-assembly on the other AF actuation sub-assembly, thereby allowing the two lens barrels to be positioned in close proximity, saving parts and fabrication costs.

Abstract: An imaging device includes: imaging lens displaceable in first and second directions in plane perpendicular to optical axis; actuator positioning the imaging lens in the first and second directions; position detector generating first and second position detection signals Hx and Hy, Hx including crosstalk component caused by displacing the imaging lens in the second direction, and Hy including crosstalk component caused by displacing the imaging lens in the first direction; crosstalk compensator correcting Hx and Hy to reduce crosstalk components included in Hx and Hy; and driver controlling the actuator based on corrected first and second position detection signals Hx′ and Hy′, wherein when ratio of Hy to Hx while driving the imaging lens in the first direction is α and ratio of Hx to Hy while driving the imaging lens in the second direction is β, the crosstalk compensator reduces crosstalk components included in Hx and Hy.

Abstract: A stereo camera includes a first lens and a second lens, a first light shield unit and a second light shield unit respectively provided at front sides of the first and second lenses to shield light incident on the first and second lenses, a first fan and a second fan respectively provided at the sides of the first and second lenses to defrost a windshield of a vehicle, and a front case in which the first and second light shield units are provided at both sides of a main body. The first and second light shield units are attachable to or detachable from the front case, a width of the first light shield unit is less than a length thereof and is greater than a height thereof, and a distance between the first and second lenses is greater than the width of the first light shield unit.

Abstract: A projector includes: an image light generating section generating image light; a projection lens projecting the image light emitted from the image light generating section; a lens shift mechanism moving the projection lens in a first direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the projection lens; an external housing accommodating the image light generating section and the lens shift mechanism and including an opening surrounding the projection lens; and a fitting mechanism attached to the external housing. The external housing includes a notch portion formed by cutting off a portion of the peripheral edge of the opening and located in the first direction with respect to the projection lens. The fitting mechanism includes a fitting portion fitted into the notch portion and forming a portion of the peripheral edge. The fitting portion moves away from the projection lens by being pressed from the projection lens side.
