    摘要: A spray gun and a detachable liquid reservoir releasably attached to the spray gun by engagement of mateable, non-threaded formations provided on the spray gun and the reservoir. The spray gun has an integral connector boss with a socket for reception of a connector tube of the reservoir. The boss has an external flange at the distal end and the reservoir has hook members separate from the connector tube. The hook members are co-operable with the flange when the connector tube is received in the socket to secure releasably the reservoir to the spray gun. In another arrangement, the connector tube is an interference friction-fit in the socket to secure releasably the reservoir to the spray gun. In yet another arrangement, the connector tube has bayonet lugs co-operable with bayonet grooves in the wall of the socket when the connector tube is received in the socket to secure releasably the reservoir to the spray gun. In a still further arrangement, the reservoir has an integral spout received in the socket integral with the spray gun and provided with a helical projection co-operable with the underside of a radial lug externally of the socket to secure the reservoir.

    摘要: There is provided a pipe joint structure wherein a proximal insert portion (20a) of an attachment pipe (20) is inserted into and secured to a base pipe (12). This pipe joint structure comprises: a cylindrical rotational operating member (30) rotatably and externally fitted on the base pipe; and a pin-shaped projection (25) which is radially protruded from the proximal insert portion of the attachment pipe; wherein the rotational operating member is provided, on an inner circumferential surface thereof, with a spiral pulling/pushing groove (35) enabling the pin-shaped projection to be introduced therein through a cut-out portion (16) formed at a distal portion (12a) of the base pipe, thereby enabling the attachment pipe to be pulled into the base pipe through the displacement of the pin-shaped projection along the groove as the rotational operating member is rotated in one direction and enabling the attachment pipe to be pushed out of the base pipe through the displacement of the pin-shaped projection along the groove as the rotational operating member is rotated in the opposite direction.

    摘要: A shaft coupling apparatus used in a pump assembly for pumping molten metal. The apparatus includes an impeller shaft, a drive shaft, and first and second coupling members. The first member engages the impeller shaft and includes a tube and two diametrically opposed pins. The second member includes a sleeve having an inner diameter adequate to receive the tube, a plate fixed to the sleeve having a mating surface cooperatively aligned with a mating surface of the impeller shaft, structure defining pin receiving slots, each slot adapted for guiding a pin into a retained position extending through the slot, and structure defining a plurality of voids in a sleeve outer surface. The pins and voids are rotatably engagable by a tool set such that the impeller and motor shafts are connectable and disconnectable by manual operation of the tool set. The apparatus may form a quick disconnect/connect gas injection shaft.
