摘要: A screw compressor is disclosed wherein a pair of rotor shafts are disposed horizontally and an oil sump is formed at the bottom of a bearing casing which accommodates bearings for supporting the rotor shafts, a bearing lower portion being soaked into oil present in the oil sump for lubrication. The screw compressor comprises a chamber provided separately from the bearing casing, an oil line for communication between the oil sump in the bearing casing and the chamber and oil level detecting means disposed in the chamber. According to this structure, the oil level in the bearing casing can be checked accurately and there is no fear of oil shortage in the bearings.

The apparatus includes a cabinet configured for retaining a vacuum pump and a lubricant-retaining basin. A rotatable member engages the lubricant-retaining basin and elevates the back end of the basin to permit drainage of lubricant from the front end of the basin.

摘要: A variable mechanical lubricant pump provides a pressurized lubricant for an internal combustion engine. The lubricant pump includes a delivery port which is fluidically connected to the engine, a control ring which shifts between a maximum and a minimum eccentricity position, a pump rotor having slidable vanes which rotate in the control ring, a control ring preload spring which pushes the control ring into the maximum eccentricity position, a hydraulic control chamber which pushes the control ring into the minimum eccentricity position, a pressure galley pump port fluidically connected to the engine, and an overpressure valve fluidically associated with the delivery port. The pressure gallery pump port charges the hydraulic control chamber with a gallery pressure to control a remote gallery pressure of the engine via a control chamber pressure in the hydraulic control chamber. The overpressure valve opens if an applied lubricant pressure exceeds a predefined maximum pressure limit.

摘要: A compressor for compressing fluid is provided. The compressor includes a housing having a housing inlet for receiving fluid and a housing outlet for discharging the fluid. A compressing mechanism is adapted to compress the fluid toward the housing outlet. The compressing mechanism is disposed in the housing. A drive unit is operatively connected to the compressing mechanism for driving the compressing mechanism to compress fluid. A suction duct is disposed in the housing. The suction duct extends vertically downward from the housing inlet toward a sump defined in the housing. The suction duct is configured for attachment to a motor housing. The suction duct has a duct inlet fluidically connected with the housing inlet, and defines a passage fluidically connecting the duct inlet with an interior cavity of the housing. A suction gas filter disposed in the suction duct, and having a filter screen positioned downstream of the duct inlet.
