摘要: The power supply unit has a sample-and-hold circuit that samples a voltage supplied from a power source to a load according to a sample timing signal and holds the voltage as an output set value for the DC/DC converter. The unit supplies a load with an output from the DC/DC converter controlled so that an output voltage of power source (22) becomes an output set value of the DC/DC converter when the voltage of power source (22) drops. Since a voltage corresponding to the voltage of the power source before the voltage drop is set to the output set value of the DC/DC converter, a stable power supply unit is obtained in which the difference is always small between the voltage of the power source in normal times and the output voltage from the DC/DC converter when the voltage of the power source temporarily fluctuates.

摘要: Multichannel signal coding equipment is provided for presenting a high quality sound at a low bit rate. In the multichannel signal coding equipment (2), a down mix part (10) generates monaural reference channel signals for N number of channel signals. A coding part (11) codes the generated reference channel signal. A signal analyzing part (12) extracts parameters indicating characteristics of each of the N number of channel signals. An MUX part (13) multiplexes the coded reference channel signal with the extracted parameters.

摘要: A power supply device of the present invention includes a switching element and a switch that operate so that when a primary DC voltage source of the device is in a voltage drop state, the power of a secondary auxiliary voltage source thereof is mixed with the power of the DC voltage source in a balanced manner and supplied to a load. This structure can reduce the maxim amount of power storage necessary for the auxiliary voltage source and thus the number of power storage elements necessary for the auxiliary voltage source. Thus, a smaller power supply device can be provided.

摘要: A limit value of an output current of power converter is defined as a first current value when a voltage at both ends of capacitor is higher than a voltage at both ends of battery, and a limit value of the output current thereof is defined as a second current value when the voltages are substantially equal to each other, the first current value is set to be smaller than the second current value. Thus, when a voltage at both ends of capacitor and a voltage at both ends of battery are substantially equal, heat is hardly generated. The limit value of the output current is set to a maximum current consumed by load. When a voltage at both ends of capacitor is higher than a voltage at both ends of battery, the limit value of the output current is set to be smaller than the second current value, and thereby heat generation is suppressed. Thus, the size of the heat dissipating components can be reduced, and a power supply system whose entire size can be minimized can be provided.

摘要: A method is provided for separating gas including diamagnetic materials and paramagnetic materials containing nitrogen oxides and oxygen into diamagnetic materials, nitrogen oxides, and oxygen. The method includes steps of providing a magnetic device along a gas passage, and providing a plurality of flow passages. Each flow passage has one end that is separately connected to the gas passage. The flow passages extend in a direction that a force due to a magnetic field of the magnetic device is applied to the paramagnetic materials in the gas. The method further includes a step of allowing the gas to flow into the flow passages so that the diamagnetic materials or the paramagnetic materials in the gas enter into a corresponding flow passage among the plurality of the flow passages.

摘要: The client's screen includes a shared area that displays a portion of the server's screen information. The present invention performs a remote event from the client upon the server by causing an input event that is instigated upon the shared area thereof to be replayed upon the server. When this circumstance occurs, the client detects the instruction for the transfer of data to the shared area thereof, requests the transfer of data from the server, receives the data that is thereby transferred from the server, and develops the data thus received to the client's memory space. Upon receipt of the request for transfer of data from the client, the server converts the data that is stored within the server's own memory space into a state wherein the data thus stored is capable of being transferred, and transmits the data thus converted to the client.
