    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a multi-channel speaker system, and an electronic device according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a housing, a display which is attached to the housing to be seen from the outside, an actuator which is attached to a back surface of the display to vibrate the display and to generate a sound of a first frequency band, a hole which is formed on one side surface of the housing, and a speaker which is positioned on a region adjacent to the hole to generate a sound of a second frequency band different from the first frequency band through the hole. The actuator includes a first actuator which is attached to a certain region of the back surface of the display to vibrate the display, and a second actuator which is attached to a back surface of the display spaced apart from the first actuator by a designated distance to vibrate the display.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention can comprise: a housing including a first plate, a second plate, and a side member surrounding the space between the first plate and the second plate; a processor arranged in the space; a display exposed through a part of the first plate; a communication circuit arranged in the space; a piezoelectric actuator arranged in the space and providing vibration to the first plate; a speaker arranged in the space near the edge of the first plate; an audio processing circuit arranged in the space and electrically connected to the piezoelectric actuator and the speaker; and a memory arranged in the space and electrically connected to the processor. According to various embodiments, when instructions, which can be included by the memory, are executed, the processor wirelessly connects to an external device by using the communication circuit, receives an audio signal through the communication circuit, and provides the audio signal to the audio processing circuit. According to various embodiments, the side member can be separated from or integrated with the second plate. According to various embodiments, the audio processing circuit can provide, to the piezoelectric actuator, a first signal having a first frequency band and can provide, to the speaker, a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band, on the basis of at least a part of the audio signal. Additional various embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments of the disclosure relate to microphone-equipped wearable devices, and more particularly, to wearable devices worn on users' ear. According to certain embodiments of the disclosure, a wearable device comprises a speaker, a microphone, and a housing, the housing includes a protrusion configured to be insertable into a user's ear, a first sound path including a first opening formed through an area of a surface of the protrusion, extending from the first opening in a first length, and including a second opening facing the speaker, and a second sound path including a third opening formed through another area of the surface of the protrusion, extending from the third opening in a second length larger than the first length, and including a fourth opening facing the microphone. Other certain embodiments are also possible.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a speaker, a microphone, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether there is auditory data stored in the memory of the electronic device when an external electronic device is connected thereto through the communication circuit, send a request for auditory data to the external electronic device when there is no auditory data stored in the memory, receive the auditory data from the external electronic device, correct data, at the electronic device, about the sound received through the microphone using the auditory data, receive corrected audio data from the external electronic device, synthesize the corrected data about the sound and the corrected audio data received from the external device to obtain first synthesized data, and output a first new sound corresponding to the first synthesized data through the speaker.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an exterior cover of an electronic device including a cover that protects a display of the electronic device. The cover may include one or more speakers. The cover may be folded one or more times to support the electronic device to be inclined and the speaker may include any one of a film speaker, a vibration speaker, a piezoelectric speaker, and a thin micro speaker. In addition, the exterior cover may include a vibration plate that is arranged thereon and any electronic component may also be arranged on the exterior cover as long as the electronic component is slim.

    Abstract: An electronic device and a sound signal processing method for improving sound perception of a hearing-impaired user are provided. The electronic device of the present disclosure includes a sound input unit comprising sound input circuitry configured to detect a sound and to convert the sound into a first sound signal and a processor which is electrically connected to the sound input unit, the processor configured to receive the first sound signal and to perform a predetermined signal processing on the first sound signal to generate a second sound signal, wherein the signal processing includes detecting a frequency band with a level equal to or greater than a predetermined value in a first frequency band above a predetermined cutoff frequency of the first sound signal, generating harmonic signals including a plurality of frequency bins that are identical in level with a signal in the detected frequency band, and overlapping the harmonic signals with the first sound signal.
