Abstract: The present disclosure may disclosure an electronic device having a water repellent structure. The disclosure electronic device may include: a housing; a speaker module disposed inside the housing and coupled to the outside of the electronic device; a sensing module disposed inside the housing and coupled to the outside of the electronic device; and a processor coupled to the sensing module and the speaker module. The processor may be configured to determine whether foreign matter is present via the sensing module, and output a signal of a specified frequency range via the speaker module so that at least part of the foreign matter moves to the outside, based on the sensing result.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments includes a housing including an acoustic channel and a nozzle portion having an opening formed therein for connecting the acoustic channel to an outside of the electronic device, and an eartip detachably engaged with the housing through at least a portion of the nozzle portion. The eartip includes a first area, at least a portion of which is formed of an elastic material and comes into contact with an object, and a second area, at least a portion of which is formed of an elastic material and surrounds at least a portion of the nozzle portion. The second area includes a first portion having a hole having a first size and a second portion having a second size larger than the first size, and a protrusion is formed at an end of the second portion in a first direction.

Abstract: A system is described for protecting the edge region of a substrate during a plasma process. The system includes an outer ring with a plurality of outer uneven portions and an inner ring also with a plurality of inner uneven portions. The outer ring covers the edge region of the substrate. The inner ring may rotate around the center point of the outer ring. When the inner ring is rotated, each of the inner uneven portions and each the outer uneven portions may slide by each other to overlap and to form openings. Changes of the opening ratios in the gaps (or the overlap ratios of the inner and outer uneven portions) may change a thickness of a plasma sheath. Thus, the plasma sheath in an edge region of the substrate may be readily controlled.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the disclosure relate to microphone-equipped wearable devices, and more particularly, to wearable devices worn on users' ear. According to certain embodiments of the disclosure, a wearable device comprises a speaker, a microphone, and a housing, the housing includes a protrusion configured to be insertable into a user's ear, a first sound path including a first opening formed through an area of a surface of the protrusion, extending from the first opening in a first length, and including a second opening facing the speaker, and a second sound path including a third opening formed through another area of the surface of the protrusion, extending from the third opening in a second length larger than the first length, and including a fourth opening facing the microphone. Other certain embodiments are also possible.
